Inifinity (when used in mathematics), is not a conventional number, therefore you cannot add, subtract, multiple, divide, square, etc. it.

well, it (infinity +1) doesn't really exist, but when rating something it can be used...but that's just my opinion.

But numbers are infinit and never ending and since it is never ending you cant add one to the end of it

Well, while you may not actually be able to add/subtract/multiply/divide a number through infinity, if infinity is kind of treated like a variable, couldn't you still write (infinity)+1 like you would X+1 or something? There wouldn't be an actual answer to it, but it could be written and still make some kind of logical sense.. I think.  :peek:
