"Pfff a year. It's 4 months." Spike said.

mhm, they think just because i am foriegn, and dont have much education, that i am sucker who they can lie too... well, luckily for Kitt he has spike as a good friend eh?

Spike laughed "Yeah." He parked out front the government office and stepped out of the car. "C'mon."

*Kitt jumped out, stepping out onto the pavement... sidewalk... it was sidewalk here... turning towards the governmental building...*

"Ok I'll set you up with the paperwork but you'll need to do all the answering on it." SPike said walking in through the doors.

yeah sure... glad your helping *Kitt followed through the large double doors into the imposing building*

Spike walked up to the desk and looked over at Kitt. "Why don't you go over there and wait? I'll take care of this." Spike looked at the small woman in the chair and smiled before he began to inquire about citizenship for his friend.

*Kitt walked over to a row of benches, sitting down his eyes wandered over the large empty lobby....*

"Thanks." He said smiling again, grabbing the large stack of paper in his paws. He walked over to Kitt. "Okay, you need to read through all of this, sign on all the selected lines, here, here, here, here, here, and here. Then answer to the questions on this sheet." He pulled out a pen from his pocket and clicked on the top. "There you are."

*kitt watched as Spike pointed repeatedly to the places to sign, and then showed the questionaire... taking the pen he began to read through the legal mush* i better get cracking then.... around ten minutes later after much muttering under his breath as he read, swaring... and scribbling down signature after signature... and then answers he handed the pile back to spike.... i suppose all i can really do is hope now...

"yep." Spike took the pile of papers and handed it back to the lady at the desk with a little extra tucked in between the papers. She looked at the small wad of hundred dollar bills and pulled out some forms from under her desk with a card fresh out of a machine, handing it back to Spike. "Have a nice day." Spike said before turning to look at Kitt, gesturing for him to follow him out the door.

*Kitt followed spike out.... he thought back to the answers of the quiz... maybe slovakia wasnt the answer to soooo many of the questions... and as for who was the president? how was he supposed to know!?...well... he'd blown his only chance this time...*

Spike got into his car and sat inside, suffling through the papers. He waited for Kitt to get in.

*Kitt sat down next to Spike in the car closing the door behind him, he watched spike rifling through the papers*
