Chrono continued to smirk and kept eye-level with her. "I didn't tell about how I came across the yakuza before, and now that I did, you'll have to tell me something that you didn't bring up before... it can be anything"

"I'm an assassin sent to kill you," She looked at him with complete seriousness.

His innocent features quickly vanished, since he couldn't read her mind like she could to his, he didn't want to take the chance. He snaked out of the table and had her down on the ground, claws around her throat. "Watch what you say, wolf, or I'll feast on your life like I did to Shalla!" he said baring his teeth, still somewhat red from his previous feast.

(sorry for the hostility, hes actually been diagnosed with bi-polar, but it only happens when his life is threatened )

"You wanted to hear something you didn't know..." She gasped. She grabbed his arm and kicked her legs. "Why do you think I haven't killed you!" She managed to get out. She mouth a short sentence of about three words before she blacked out.

He sees her black out in front of him, and like a switch turning on the lights. He goes from sudden hostility, to sudden grief and frustration. I curse this demonic heritage, it turns even the most innocent moments into bloodshed and slaughter, curse it all to the hell it came from! he berated himself, also crying unusually gold tears in the process, his demonic instincts have ruined one relationship and are going to ruin another!

Chrono? I lov... a faint voice appeared in his head.

He was about to slip into a series of flashbacks that would have incited a slaughter inside the sushi-house if it wasn't for the one small voice that seemed to push back the series, even if only for a moment. B-Blaire, hide before I lose it again, I don't want you to end up like Shalla!!

Blaire's hand gripped his wrist. She grabbed so hard that her nails punctured his skin. Her eyes opened, glowing blue and purple. Stay focused, Fight it!

The voice in his head got stronger, and it practically banished all his inner darkness, with the rest of his effort putting it into a cage that would probably take eons to slip out of. The cosmetic effect was almost immedeat, his scales turned from black and red to white and light blue. "Its....its gone!" He hugged her and started to cry again, showing his entire non-demonic self.

An angel that has yet to get its wings or halo.

Blaire's eyes lightened and dimmed as if they shut off. She smiled and hugged him back.

Chrono stopped himself from crying further, and noticed a few gold drops were on Blaire's kimono. "Wow, I cry gold... a few more minutes and I'd have a few thousand dollars!" he joked before the waitress arrived with their drinks and food.

Blaire was already in her seat before the waitress arrived. "Don't think I'll forget about that choking out..." She said looking at him.
