Chris walked into the briefing room. Only a few hours ago had he been selected to take part out of all the recruits. He sat down on one of the chairs and waited. He'd been selected by Reliable Excavation and Demolition, or RED as they were known, to be the one to take up their "Scout" job position. He didn't what it would involve, but he hoped that they would at least give him something that was worth joining.

ghost walked into the briefing room, ghost was a pyro maniac, she was ready to toarch some guys, she had just got out of basic pyro training, and was ready to help, she sat down, she always carried her axe, she might not always have her shotty or flamethrower, but her axe would never leave her side, she looked around and saw a wolf here, she nodded to him

Marko finished loading his syringe gun, checking his medigun, and making sure his bonesaw was tuned properly. "Vell zen, let us get on viz ze briefing." His rather thick German accent aside, Marko was anxious to get on with things. "Let us get to ze point already, all zis vaiting bores me."

He'd popped out to his equipment locker and retrieved his sawn-off, pistol and baseball bat. The bat was in one of his paws as he sat in a chair, the cap on his head skewed at an angle.

"It seems most of us are here, so let us begin. Ve have been hired to clear out an old mining area zat has been overrun by some sort of militia, or somezing. To tell you ze truth I stopped reading ze contract after it gave us ze location." The feline smirked at this. "Ze point is someons needs us to cause pain. Any objections? I thought not."

Shane raised his hand. "Objection...... Idiots who don't read whole contracts usually get the team killed.  So, if we die, have fun digging our graves." He smirked.

"I have to agree with the kid on this one, if ya don't read the contract you don't know what your doin' " Hyakuyakunochou
replies "Besides if I don't know what were doin' I don't know what kind of stuff would be best to build."

"Okay zen, first of all, ze grave digging is for zose of you zis shovels. Second, ze contract states clearly enough zat ze force ve shall be up against vill be comparably equipped to ourselves, and zat on our arrival ve vill be provided vis topographical maps to help us predict enemy positions and ze best locations for our defensive items. And Lastly, don't tempt me to amputate." Marko smirked back at Shane, then turned his back to the lot of them. "It is really an acceptably simple job, and one zat promises great pay. Ve vill, of course, be given ample time to prepare."

Listening nearby, a raptor materialized as if popping out of thing air fixing his tie at the same time. "Sorry did I miss the meeting?" he said in a very articulate manner, particularly for one with such a heavy reptilian hiss. He flicked his dagger around his fingers. His shiny green orbs peered about the bunch, while pretty they belied a sharp and calculated killer. "Just tell me who to kill would you?" he added

"We get topographical maps, the other team's well equipped, etcetera, etcetera."  Shane said to the confused member.
"Oh, and we have 'ample' time to prepare...."  He added, putting air quotes up when he said 'ample'.
