I'll like to know of you poeple what kind of music you like xD.

Here is my style:
Rock/metal/deathmetal

Fav. bands:
The Devil Wears Prada (don't confuse it with the movie, it is also a band xD), Simple Plan, Bullet For My Valentine, Etc...

Fav. song:
Simple Plan - Crazy

mostly rock/metal/punk and all the subgenres, i dont really have a favorite song or band, there's just too much to pick from

i like, metal, heavy metal, and metal that is way more worse than heavy metal.
but also techno/electro/happy/hardcore/hardstyle and everyting that sounds a bit like one of those  :D

The Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, The Rosebuds, Bad religion, Green Day, The Manic Street Preachers, Reel Big Fish to name a few, i go through a lot.

I'm into music.  Very much so.  I'll drop a few a band names from different genres I like.

Anybody else here a fan of Dream Theater?
One of the most musically talented rock/metal bands I've ever heard.

Within Temptation is a neat group, too (I think they call themselves a dutch gothic rock band).
The band my friends give me strange looks for is Värttinä (Finnish folk music band, great Skaldic lyrics).
I'm a fan of Jeremy Soule's orchestral work (probably best known for a bunch of video game soundtracks).
Xavier Rudd is a fantastic hippie, Australian-Aboriginal influenced one-man-band.
I recently recommended The Weakerthans to someone (great indy band).

I grew up on pop and rock of the times, from ACDC to Collective Soul to Metallica to Treble Charger.
And early Treble Charger was -really- good.  Then they changed -- in my opinion, for the worse.  Like Our Lady Peace.

^ I quite liked the gorillaz stuff, too, but never got into the Beach Boys.  I can deal with the Beatles, but I'm not a huge fan of either.  Which, sadly, is a cardinal sin for musicy-music people.  So I feel like a terrible person for it, but that doesn't make me like either one of them.
