Well, I was on the Planet MineCraft forums, and I saw a furrie thread. At the time, I had no idea what it was, so I went on it~
I found a bustling, thriving hub of creativity, with animals/humanoids at its main focus. I loved it! After a while, I realised I didn't have a fursona! So, after a think, I came up with Felinpyre.
I was then introduced to this website, and voila!

As far back as I can remember, I've been a furry. I remember watching Sonic the hedgehog cartoons when I was very little, and things like Tom and Jerry. I pretty much fell in love with foxes after I got my first glimpse at the sonic video game and I've stuck with the obsession of Sonic ever since. throughout the years, I played games like Banjo-Kazooie and Conkers Bad Fur Day all the way on up to Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank. (I highly reccommend Ratchet and Clank.) I also watched cartoons full of anthropomorphic characters. At Halloween every year, my mother would find me a fox costume to wear. She was actually the first one to call me a furry when I was very young. The funny thing was that she was one too. I also grew up surrounded by very sweet animals. So in a way, I've pretty much been a furry all my life. Now that I have the money to do it, I'm getting myself a fur suit and if you see this Terra Moon thank you for going through the suit process with me.

I've just always loved dragons, its all i drew in school from middle up to college. Inside I always dreamed of being able to at least partialy be one, I tried to find a dragon tail that I could wear but they were very expensive, so I resorted to a fox tail. Ever since i've been hooked.

well i guess i've been 1 since i have memory 
when i was like 7 or 8 months old my mom sister and me when to a toy store and when we passed through cuddle aisle i turned crazy when i saw a small wolf on 1 of the shelves..u know the crying kicking stuff babies do..mom told me that 
i also loved wolves since i got memory (when i was 2 or so and some1 asked me what was my favorite animal i always said "wuuf"  ), i also always felt somehow different from other ppl..although i denied it til a couple of days ago i always i felt that way 
 
I always felt i was a wolf...sometime ago i was checking on internet about wolf/human art (anthro) and i really liked the draws i saw that time

I have been a furry since I was young not exactly sure on age but I would love to dress up like a wolf it was always so fun, when I got older I couldnt grow out of it so It ended up becoming a secret that I wanted to be a mix of a wolf and human (anthro)  Then a while ago I overheard my brother talking to my step brother about furries and for some reason my ear was raised so I listend on to only find out out the way he was describing them sounded just like me, my tail started wagging to find out that there are other people like me then he started to call them weird and "what the hell is wrong with weirdos like that" so my heart stoped and I died a little, so that also brings into why I wont be open about it untill Im in a relationship with another fur

I'm not exactly sure when or how my involvement in the fandom originally came about. I know that I was always obsessed with animal cartoons/anthros (Biker Mice From Mars did that one for me). In some old sketchbooks, I drew my very first "fursona" if you will, although at the time I didn't know it had a name.


My actual involvement spiked last year after I stumbled upon FanBoy Confessionals one evening. I kind of tilted my head and went, "screw it. I know I'm a furry, and I want to meet others like me." So I began my search, and joined tons of furry forums (mostly local ones). I've met so many amazing people so far! It was the best decision I've ever made.

I love to hug. And at an early age I quickly found out how awesome it is to hug furry creatures . Though at the time I had never heard of a furry community. As I grew older I found both awesome furry's, and yiff... I loved the whole idea of furry's, but didn't realy love the yiff part. I ofc. now know that is a pretty seperate community.

But I have always been on the edge of looking for a community. And at some point someone dragged me into it. I have not regret it since.
