How did YOU become furry? =)

Most likely the reaction I'll get from my oldest brother if I ever got around to telling him. But it won't matter to me, I can leave the house and go to my hideaway whenever I wanted!

That song drives me nuts. I can't stand it.  It's also one of those songs that will stick in your head for ages! I'll most likely be mocked if my brother has friends around (He's quite sly with his jabs, but when he has friend around he can stay stuff that really hurts)

it's quite funny like gangam style. the song is making fun of celebrities and mainstream music in general.

And the ultimate irony is that it becomes mainstream!

Why do I find that so funny? I really confuse myself sometimes. Everyone I know keeps saying that the video for "what does the fox say?" was filmed at a furry convention.

It really frustrates me when people say things like that. All they negative imagery of Furries is what made me scared to be one in the first place.  I'm not scared anymore, mind.

How did I become a furry? Well I think that goes back to the fact that I was at first a scalie. I've spent my entire life obsessed with Dragons, (That fursona will become real one day) and well I've always been a scalie. I started to notice I was a furry when I started to watch anime. Particularly so with Yuffie from Code Geass. I was a closet fur for a long time, until I met Tayy. Then nothing was ever secret

I know I posted a while back but another reason is that I wanted to be anything I wasn't, I wanted to transform into a furry. I know it's weird but I remember seeing Pinocchio as a child and watching that part about the kid turning into a donkey really got my attention, I was a little uncomfortable by it. Mostly it was interesting, another is beauty and the beast. I liked to be an animal, to understand my animal instincts, I used to howl like a wolf (now I can't do that because of my Adam's apple). I like to unleash my inner animal and act like a werewolf, I wanted a fur suit so I can express my feelings, I made my fursona so I can have another personality (animal) Inside me. I can thank werewolves for inspiring me to join the fandom

How I became a furry? It's complicated, but I guess it started at the same time I realized to myself I was a bit bisexual.
From that point I started develop some sort of fursona I felt I had a deeper connection with. I couldn't figure out what kind of fursona it was though after looking and searching around the internet for a while. By now, I didn't even know what a "furry" was or if the word even existed.   All I knew was that the deep connection made me feel very happy. I had been at every possible site involving furry fandom and one day when I found the word "furry", I looked it up and from that point I definitely knew I was a furry.
