Totally blame Disney!
I remember being about 5-6 and watching The Fox and the Hound, it was my total favorite. I used to drive the adults mad by running around on hands and knees "practicing my howl" and insisting everyone call me Copper.
Then came The Lady and the Tramp 2. At which time I became Angel instead of Copper.
I always had an imaginary animal friend and I always used to play at being a dog or fox or whatever took my fancy.
Anyway I stumbled on the real furry fandomat 16 thanks to a furry friend of mine. I created my first fursona Harmony a white wolf. I started signing up to forums and chatting to other furs and realized I could be anything I wanted. I changed to a vixen fursona and over the years have changed from that a few times.
I started out with little basic rp's but soon my love of writing took over and I joined some more literate and experienced furs. I loved RP and created a few characters to explore with. It's a side of the fandom I miss now I'm not so active.
I decided to try my hand at the art side, I adore the furry art others make but my own art is lacking in skill though I'm slowly improving.
I took a break from online furry life but I'm right back here a few months later, I guess being furry isn't something you can just ignore!
