I just always thought animals, especially felines, were more visually appealing and physically interesting than humans. Being covered with fur, having a huge, floofy tail, PAWS (omg paws), muzzles, those fangy teeth ... other than dexterous hands and powerful brains (debatable with some people) felines just have better forms. And it's pretty easy to imagine re-designing paws to work as hands and stuffing a sentient brain into the skull.

Another pretty big thing was my love for weight gain and inflation -- when you do it to humans, it's just weird -- but make a feline the size of a house and he/she is just a huge community-sized beanbag chair!

I'm not sure if I am, actually. I'm a tabletop gamer and love to play races that are animal based. When I started working with a group of friends on our own game I was joked with because I loved our wolf and simian based races. I'm a proud Pagan and more closely relate to the Egyptian Gods, mostly Anubis, Horus and Bast. I get joked with alot about being a furry so I figured why not explore and see. And so far I like how nice everyone has been!

I've always liked anthro animals and even looked at art of them and wanted to be one, but I didn't know there was an entire fandom that makes awesome art like this. I think I saw that Strange Addiction episode that makes us look bad, and I thought furries were weird people at first.  Then I completely forgot abiut furries for a while, until I heard people talking about this old mod for game. The mod was called Furblivion  and it turned all the human races in the game to aninal races, I looked it up, because I wanted to see what it looked like. Google led me to a furry forum. While I found out that it was taken down because it was causing problems with people's games, I did see some avatars of some people on the forum, and thought they looked really cool. Then I realised I was exactly what a furry is. Then I joined the fandom and became a lizard.

Well for me, it started out as loving dragons, animals and werewolves. I wanted to find a community that was interested in stuff like that too. I heard of this thing called "furry" so I wanted to become one because they sounded pretty cool, And from that day forward, I was a proud furry!

I think i was born to be, it sounds just u know Crazy, but since i was 5 years old i have had these awesome dreams every night, where me and Maroon are good friends, and we adventuring the world of Raze together, adventure after adventure, when i was about 12 i watched TV, National geographic channel, and then i saw the series "Taboo" where they viewed strange parts society and lifestyles, when they reviewed "Furry" and from that moment i knew it was it

Well i have, been furry in a couple of years now and i was shy thinking on how other furries will welcome me to the Fandom ore what??

then i started here a week ago and everyone is just so nice to me

How I became furry? Well that started back in May 2013. I was browsing through IFunny (great app) and came across this Ifunnier named DoctorMitchell. He posted Furry pictures every day and coming from like starfox and such I thought that was cool. I Started to look into it and hey here I am.

I think I've always been a furry my whole life, I just never really knew what a furry was or if there were other people that were the same as me. So for most of my life I tried not to think about it as much, just put it in the back of my mind... but one day I had to stay home from school sick, and my sister wanted me to watch movies with her, so I did. We ended up watching Robin Hood and Balto, and I felt such a strange nostalgia after watching them. I felt like I had to learn more and that's when I discovered furries x3.

I absolutely love video games , sonic , Mario , you name it! I always though anthropomorphic animals looked cool so I decided to join the furry fandom, and that's how , my fursona, red retro was born

I always felt like something was missing until college i met some friends that one night decided we were gonna write a book͵ the book never got finished just something we tooled around with for awhile, but it how i met kalan. I was responible for creating the elf in the story and the more i wrote the more he came alive changed evolved started developing personality traits all on his own. By the time i was done he had become a half elf half wolf with a back story deep in war and the protection of his people. Anyways figuring i probably didn't have a career as an author in my future i pushed it aside and moved on but kalan was still there, and a then about a month ago i was watching CSI on dvd over at a friends house and we watched the episode i now hate but it brought me to the fandom reunited me with kalan and now here i am

At first, I discovered furry art through the internet 4 years ago. I later started creating my own fox persona. I "became" furry a year and a half ago when I first heard of the fandom from some friends. I then joined the various furry communities a year ago.

Well I was stumbling across Tapatalk looking for RP forums and found TFF. When I learned that the mostly use fursona I was skeptical of staying almost leaving but I got over it and now I couldn't be happier. I was also a deep Naruto fan. Now I happily RP with my fursonas Remulus and Colonel.
