i became furry by youtube believe it or not, i was looking up dubstep dancing and other dancing when i see "dance competion at anthrocon 2012"  i saw the costume and was curios so i wayched it and it was mangusu and it looked funny and then on one of the youtube videos it had "furry" on it i guess i just ignored it and kept watching them then my father saw one and thoyght it was cool/funny but he told a person at work and said they are sexual people, he told me and of corse i didnt believe him at first but guess what? i googled imaged it and saw the bad. and well me being a teen you can guess what i did. but i found a forum and then another and a nother and then i learn the good from uncle kage(on you tube)

Hey everyone!

I'm a new member (I haven't been on this site for even a day lol), but anyway, I came to this fandom after August. You see, I am a young webcomic artist, and I have two webcomics. That being the case, I actually bought a booth at a small anime convention to sell my artwork. And I was a great success at it!

I managed to get a decent profit (after fixing out the costs of everything) and got me a little following of sorts (I wish I had a bigger following, but meh, what ya gonna do?). In any case, most of my profits came from commissions that I did for people, and wouldn't ya know it, a majority of my commissions were furry/animal/anthro related artwork, and got me a ton of my profit.

I got curious about the furry fandom since there were a lot of furries there in cosplay (mostly MLP, but they still count in my book). After research, I decided to give it a try, I came up with a story/artwork for a furry web comic (Paranormality if you guys are interested) and thus, I came here in hopes of finding others.

well you found others i mean the website does say *thefurryforum.* its kind of a big hint. jk. any way i would would love to read your comics if at all possible?   if its any thing close or far from *better days* i am sure i will love it    i look forward to seeing you on here a lot and may i ask what state do you live in because me/myself lives in ohio.

lol, yes, I realize that, but -shrugs-.

As for my comics, sure! You can read them! In fact, I want people to read them! That's one of the reasons why I joined the forum, to find people with similar interests to read my comics, I love that!

well glad to hear that at least you can go to a con i have never been to one which i guess is a good thing? oh but when ever a morphicon event is happening we both can go. you have to make an account on their site but im sure its worth it cause they give their dates for every event. they had a picnic a couple of months ago and it was (from what i heard) a good turnout. but i no their sooo.

Drew furry comics since second grade. Basically copying storylines from the classic bond movies but replacing Bond with a pidgeon and the villains with ferrets, weasels, crows and wolves. Since then I've identified with the characteristics of alot of animals. I have known of the furry fandom through a friend for five years but never had to need to indulge myself in the community until very recently.

Went through a similar turn of mind while walking in costume with another group. A bit later at night and just a couple of meters out from the convention center. People from the bars crouched over the curfew barfing out alcohol, of course yelling slander, cursewords or trying to be nifty as we walked by. Took offense at first, but then I though just as you Graal. 'Why would I want to impress those people, standing on their fours barely counscious?' And now we are both here.
