You know how people insist that the human race is the only sentient race in the universe, even when we've started our expeditions into space and have found some form of life on other planets (specifically, and I could be wrong, bacteria on Mars)? That. That arrogance that we're all there is is just annoying. Besides, most of these arguments center around the fact that humans are supposed to be God's creation. Well, ignoring humanities being disproven as being the center of the freaking galaxy, what's so wrong with thinking maybe, just maybe, in all of His infinite power and wisdom, has created other intelligent species? They don't have to be better if you don't want to believe that, but it's aggravating that so many people REFUSE to accept that perhaps we're not alone in the universe. I've never seen anyone be so confident on being lonely, and being happy with that loneliness.
