Thomas was... maybe the 13th in line.. out of the 100 or so first years there in the line...
"Slytherin!" "Ravenclaw!" "Ravenclaw!" "Gryffindor!" "Slyhterin!" "Hufflepuff!"
The odd looking hat kept shouting houses.  It had to decide for quite a long time for some people, and for others, it hardly touched their heads...
Thomas was now 7th in line...

It was finally Thomas' turn... He slowly walked toward the Sorting Hat and sat down on the bench...
"Hmm...." The Sorting Hat was deciding his fate...
"Ravenclaw? ..No, no... Doesn't suit your.. personality.."
Thomas just sat there, his eyes closed and teeth clenched..
"How about Slytherin... Oh, no... Not Slytherin.."
"Hurry up and decide.." Thomas said through clenched teeth...
"Someone's pushy..... GRYFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat wailed.
Applaud came from the Gryffindor table and he sighed..
"Finally."  Thomas murmured, taking his seat at the Gryffindor table..
