She giggled, chasing after him and leaping- arcing gracefully into the water. As the water closed over her head, the panic inside fought ot the surface of her brain and dictated she rise. She ignored it, swimming to the bottom and exploring the soft earth there. Her mouth and lungs burned, signaling to return. Bursting through the water, dewdrops glistened in her fur as she breathed, dog-paddling slowly.
