[Sakamoto Kumiko]

Kumi let out a sigh of relief as her fears and paranoia swiftly melted away. Another freshman! Perhaps not nearly as new as she was but it was a start. He laughed in her head.
"Yusuke, huh? Well, it's nice to meet you. You have no idea what a relief it is to know that there are nice people here. I got a little paranoid when I arrived. Y'know... whole school full of people with amazing abilities; perhaps some with tempers." Then a thought struck Kumiko. "Hey, Yusuke, what's your ability?"

[Ishii & Maximus]

Yusuke's smile faded a little, a small shadow passing over his eyes.
"Well, most of us came here willingly, but there are some... anyways, my power... well, My code name is Chrono, so... basically, it's time manipulation. What's yours?"

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

"W-Well, I'm Reaper; or that's my code name at least. My abilities... It's mostly just some half-assed teleportation." She laughed lightly. "I've been tele-pocketing for a year and I still don't have the hang of it. Other than that... I do have some necromancy-like thing going on, but it's a little wierd and I can't exactly control it. At all."
Kumi signaled to the scythe strapped to her back to signal a point.
"And, when you say that most people came here willingly, are you saying that they forced you to come?"

she sat down against the school wall, nombing on her lon shirt n deep concentration while she tred t fgure out some equations

 "Well I wouldn't say forced exactly, but I wasn't given a choice... I would have said yes, but... One day I was in the hospital, the next I was here..." he says, while laughing lightly and scratching the back of his head. "anyways, your a freshman, right? that means you probably have Heroism 101 first... follow me, I'll take you there."

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

Kumiko blinked with surprise. "Right! Class. Heroism 101. Thank you; I still don't know my way around this school." Kumi rubbed the back of her head and then hurried after him, having to keep a steady and fast pace so as not to fall behind. "So Yusuke, other than class and training, what do people usually do for fun around here? I ask because I've run out of books and I need something to do between classes..."

[Ishii & Maximus]

"Well, we do the usual things, school keeps us pretty busy, and I can't say for you, because your a freshman, but the juniors, like me, and the seniors are sometimes called away for missions. I've got Villain Pshyc. today, it's my only class, so if you'd like, I'll show you around. When's your last class?"

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

"This is my last one for today actually. Once I finish off I'll have nothing to do. Originally I was going to read a book but when I checked to see what I had I found out I'd already read them all and i don't like re-reading things. That's why I'm curious about what can be done around here." Kumiko smiled up at him. "And I would greatly appreciate it if you'd show me around. Thank you!"

smiles as a light blush tints his cheeks. "Great! I'll meet you out here then! Bye!" Yusuke ran around the corner, heading toward the nearest flight of stairs

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

Kumiko beamed with glee. Where once she was afeared for the other students, now she felt a deep feeling of warm welcoming. With a quick and happy (not to mention relieved) sigh, she turned and walked into her final class of the day, already counting down the minutes until it was over.

Yusuke sat in his desk, spinning a pencil and wishing for the Nth time that he could use his powers in the class room. Having a sudden idea, he grinned and pulled out his sketchbook, slowly filling out an outline of the meerkat he had just met, a blush slowly growing on his cheeks.

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

The teacher had one of those monotone and yet somehow high voices that seemed to be like a lullaby; one of those teachers whose class you can't help but fall asleep in.
She wasn't particularly interested really. Heroism just wasn't her thing.
Kumiko rolled her eyes back, gave her arms a good stretch out in front of her, yawned, and then flopped her head down onto her fabric coated binder-- much more comfortable than the desk. However, unable to sleep, Kumi started tracing the carvings in the desk with her fingertip.
"Ms. Sakamoto," the teacher perked up. "Are you listening?"
Kumi nodded, even though it wasn't true, and, to make it look like she actually was listening, she pulled open her binder and found lined paper. For a while she simply stared into space with a pencil in hand. Then she doodled the training ground scene. First she doodled chibis of the other students practising their powers. Then she drew Yumi Yusuke and smiled. She took her time on that drawing.

Ember flew through the doors to the training area and over to the bleachers, where she landed on the top row of them. She stood there for a minute and looked around, then looked at the bracelet on her wrist. She shook her head and looked around at the dummies again, setting them on fire one at a time as she focused on each one and then putting the fires out one at a time as she refocused on each one. She created a fireball in her hand and played with it before straightening her arm out with her palm flat (like she was holding it out to stop somebody) and shot the flame outward like a flamethrower. She smiled and stopped the flame. Standing there, she tried to figure out what she wanted to do next.

Yusuke sighed in relief as the bell rang. Flipping his sketchbook closed, he shoved it into his bag and ran out the door. He Stoped by his dorm room to drop of his bag, and headed towards the Heroism class.

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

Kumi was still doodling when the bell rang. She was jerked out of her own thoughts as the loud scrapping of chairs against floor sounded around the room, the students leaping from their seats and scurrying towards the door. Kumiko didn't even get the chance to get up as they hurried past her desk.
Once most of the others had left she picked up her things, making her she hadn't left any papers or pencils behind. She head for the door, a bright smile plastered on her face, eager to meet up with Yusuke.
