Yusuke smiled and scratched the back of his neck. "Pretty much since I was nine... It was sort of an escape, you know? My nieghborhood... wasn't exactly the best..."

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

"Mm... that's too bad... I can't really relate to living in a bad neighborhood..." Kumi gave the drawings little flips and then made comparisons from the ones that looked to be a bit older than the rest. She liked to see how an artist improved over the years. "Wow," she commented. "You're really good."
Her tail waved about mindlessly behind her.

she looked around. silently whistling to a nw tune she had heard around. she sat back against the grass and closed her eyes

Yusuke smiled and scratched the back of his neck. "Thanks, but I've ah, I've seen better.. what about yours?" He crossed his arms over his chest, waiting expectantly.

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

Kumi's mind snapped to attention. "Oh! Right." She picked up her clipboard and passed ti over to Yusuke. "These are just ones I'm working on right now. I've got most of my other ones in binders back in my room."

[Ishii & Maximus]

Yusuke smiled to himself. "I'm sure they're all good, these certainly are..." He stopped as he flipped to the last page, a picture of him at the training field. "Wow... This is very life like..."

[Sakamoto Kumiko]

"Y-You think so?" Kumi smiled. "Thank you, and I really like yours. You improve very quickly," she said, holding up two different drawings. "That's supposed to be a really good sign from what I've read."

Yusuke smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "nyaa! well, that's what everyone tells me, I learn quick I guess, but thanks... Here's the last picture I drew... My villain psych wasn't very exciting..." He took his sketch book out and flipped to the last picture, of him and her

[Arke]

"Okay, let's see what this thing can really do..." A quick wrist motion and the plating on his right wrist realigned, components shifting to augment the cannon on his palm. His V-7 Direct Energy Cannon reconfigured itself into a new weapon, and one he had yet to test. "Okay, particle rifle firing test one. Recording systems online..." He lined up on one of the remaining target dummies and took a deep breath. The sound of power building reverberated through his suit for a moment, and then... nothing. "Huh... Well that's-" A bright red streak cut it's way through the air, disintegrating the target instantly and throwing Blitz back against the wall and impact-resistant glass. "Oww... Post-test log one, look into beam lag..."

[Vee Katame: His Wolfy]

Ember jumped from the sudden bright red streak, since she thought she had been alone. She nodded slightly at its effectiveness then looked to the source and chuckled softly to herself. She continued to walk the perimeter of the training grounds with her body still covered in flames.

Kumi took tha sketchbook and looked at the picture. It was a beautifully drawn rendition of how they met; just after they'd bumped into one another, Yusuke sitting opposite Kumiko, his hand raised slightly as when he had first looked at his palm and her wrists elevated after her frantic waving. She smiled bright.
"wow..." was all she could really think to say.

Yusuke felt his face light up at the praise. "Maa, I made sure it was good... I think it's my favorite... anyways, what do you wanna do now?"

*she giggled as she saw the other fly into the wall* "oooOh thats gunna bruise" she squinted slightly

[Arke]

Blitz absently hits the button to retract his suit, leaving Indy sitting in his t-shirt and cargos as he rubbed his head. "Nothing a full overhaul won't fix..." He shakes himself  again before standing, and surveying the damage he had caused. He whistled proudly. "Maybe a little excessive, but you never know..." He started for his stalking grounds, the school machine shop, mumbling about the 'capacitance transfer delay' and other big terms.

"Hmm?" Kumi looked at Yusuke, totally into the drawings and oblivious to anything else. "About what?"
