Foxx woke up and went outside to get food. When he was near the ship, 5 Shadows passed in front of him.
*gulp* Uh-oh..., he thought, grabbing his sword with his right paw (in his left paw was an improvised bag, with a few dead little animals and some fruit), and looking around. He saw the ship nearby.
I have to kill them all. I can't let them find the ship.
The Shadows attacked all at once, and Foxx leaped in a small space between the Shadows and hid his bag in the middle of some bushes.
The Shadows attacked again, and Foxx sliced one of them, then barely escaped the black swords of two of them.
That was tooclose, he thought. He wasn't able to fight right, he was hungry. He got far enough so he could use a technique he learned from Henry: he blew a strong wind from his mouth and two of the Shadows were sent high in the air. He killed one with a fire ball and sliced the other in two. When he sliced the Shadow he heard a soft sound that was made by the sword's blade and the wind he created.
Wow... nice sound... what am I thinking?? Ok.. three down... two to go...
He saw one of the remaining Shadows. They ran against each other, and their swords collided. Foxx was caught off-guard by the Shadows strength, and he fell on his back.
Shoot..., he thought, when he saw the Shadow balancing it's black sword towards him. He lifted his sword by instinct, and he felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder. He opened his eyes and got up as fast as he could.
Where's the last one? I only killed four of them., he thought, looking around, his ears perked up, and waiting for any sound of the Shadow.
He saw something running through the bushes, picked up a rock and threw it.
"I KNOW YOU'RE OVER THERE, YOU PIECE OF TRASH!", he yelled. The Shadow slowly showed itself.
*ugh*... My shoulder..., he thought, biting his lip a bit.
The Shadow started running and so did Foxx, with his fur getting red.
Foxx's sword clashed again with a black sword, but now he was prepared for the impact. They repelled each other, Foxx felt a sharp pain again and the Shadow's sword hit Foxx's left arm.
"AHH!", Foxx screamed, and started swinging his sword in desperation. The Shadow got hit in the head and disappeared.
"*ngh* Gotta get to the ship...", Foxx said to himself, putting his sword in his belt, and, after getting the bag with the food, he slowly made it to the ship.
He went to his room and ripped a bit of his blanket to wrap around the wounds. He wrapped the blanket carefully around the wounds, but...
I have to tie this... this is going to hurt..., he thought, grabbing one of the ends with his right paw an the other with with his teeth. He took a deep breath and pulled.
"AHHHH!", he screamed, when he felt the worst pain in that day.
When the pain settled down, he ate a bit of the food inside the little bag, and then he leaned against his bed and started muttering some words, so he could relief the pain in his arm and tried to heal it.
