Hero's Drive
« on: December 10, 2008, 11:54:12 PM »
Waking up in a small shack I get up and look around.  Where am I?  How did I get here? I think to myself as I realize I'm alone in the room.  Upon getting up I quickly get back into the bed, a dizy spell causing me to fall over.  Ugh why does my head hurt so bad? examining my hands I notice a white patch on my left forearm and think What went there, I get the feeling that it's realy important.  I'm just gonna get a bit more rest before I leave, hopefully some one will know what happened, cause I sure don't.  Laying back down the rest of the way I cover myself back up and go back to sleep.

Times change, and promises are broken        |   Life is short
Life goes on and yet it stops                        |   Yet the soul is eternal
I have much to give so have this token         |   Your words a port
And get some chocolate from the shops        |   For feelings, internal

Life is short so do not wait                          |   Go seek the love
Take love by the horns                               |   Who's soul is yours
Loyalty is a wonderful trait                           |   They are your dove
But be wary of a rose's thorns                     |   Who's love is lores

Things that live                               |   Join now in the search
Must always die                               |   And find your love
Yet do not dive                              |   They'll be your perch
Into this lie                                     |   As you are their dove

trowa walks through the woods, scouting out the area for possible logging sites. she watched over her familys smithy and sense it was her day off, she had better get a head start on next weeks work, and that ment finding fule to keep the forges going, she shook her head and unslung her axe once she found a suitable tree, she looked around trying to determin the best way to bring down the tree. upon looking a ways to the left she came upon some type of cabin, it looked prety near abandon, no one had lived there for years, she walked up and saw there was no leaves and brush on the door step, someone had entered this place. with caution she tapped on the door.

Anton was half-asleep with a gear on his desk in front of him, when he heard a knocking on the front door. "Coming, two seconds." he siad quickly straightening his hair, as it got all scrambled from bed head, and opened the door to see a metal humanoid figure standing there. His jaw dropped, and he stepped back a little, falling over on his behind after taking a bad step over a chair, "What are you?" he cried, but not loudly or rudely. He had at first thought it was some kind of suit of armor, but he could see places where hydrolics and metal tubes left empty spaces where the person inside would be. He remainded on the floor, sitting up with his hands on the floor behind him.

trowa looked down at the human "i'm trowa titan, a mecha" she said proudly and laconicaly "i was wondring if i could cut down this tree for my familys smithe, titan works down the road a ways into town" she said stepping back and pointing to the tree in question, a large oak tree, about 40 feet up, tall, but almost dwarfed by the tall trees around it. the oak was on the edge of the meadow where the cabin was, if she was careful it would fall next to the cabin and she would take the wood back to power the forge for another week or 2. she looked curiously at the gear on the table, she didn't know what it was but she was almost drawn to it. she quickly shook her head and looked back at the human sitting on the ground.

Vosur ventured around in the darkness, his currently-green eyes were taking in as much light as possible as he could not see in color, he didn't understand why he couldn't see color. His own footsteps were heavy and metallic, not intending to be quiet as he ventured around. He barely knew about himself, just vague memories. "A... gear. Why always a gear?" he muttered to himself as he continued walking. He would often look down to his hands, seeing the large amount of fur on them. "Why do I look like this... who or what am I?"

"Uhh, sure, it's not my tree." Anton seemed in a panic, though Trowa seemed to be freindly, he didn't want to get on her bad side, "If you want anything else, take it, this isn't really my house. I live in the city, sort of." he quickly looked behind him, and stood up. Facing Trowa with a stern look on his face. "But you can't have that thing." he motioned towards the Metal Gear{[lol]} on his desk, "It's... dangerous."

"dangerious, how?" the mecha asked curiously swinging her axe down and leaning on the shaft. she looked aqt the gear and then at the human, she did have a few questions for this guy, but they really wern't her business, she did want to know about that gear, it seemed important. trowa looked at the little door on the opposite side of the shack. "do you know where that door leads" she asked the human, getting curious. but she stepped back and shook her head, she was out here on business after all.

Gizor sat alone by a lake in the woods staring at his reflection in the water, the creature staring at him was not who he really was, ever since he had found that gear, he had become...this, and even though this was accepted by many, he still felt like he should be doing something about it, he felt some anger towards the gear, which had assumed the form of a necklace around his neck, and continued to stare in the water

He went over to the gear and carefuly picked it up with a pair of heavy pincers, and placed it inside a crate made of two titanium boxes, on smaller than the other, with concrete filled in between them, and closed a heavy titanium/comcrete lid over the top and locked it with iron chains, a big padlock, and put it in a 200 lb safe inside his closet and locked that one, then locked the closet door. "I can't take the chance that the wrong hands, or any hands for that matter, get on that... thing. Not that I think you're the wrong hands, but like I said."

trowa without another word picked up her heavy axe as if it weighed nothing and walked over to the tree and started hacking at the base, cutting a notch in it on one side. she steadly hacked away at the tree stotic and laconic.

"In case you get lost, or need to find something, I made a map of the area." he put his finger at several points of interest, "These are the mountains, most of witch are full of mountain lions, wolves and bears. This is the dig site, if you really need to go there I'll have to come with you, because I set up traps to help scare away looters. Here is the lake, there is a boat house and a fishing store there if you want to go out and see the view and/or go fishing. There is the market, I make regular trips there for food and water. And the rest is pretty much just trees and wildlife, oh and the old ranger station is somewhere in here..." he sircled around an area in the woods with a pencil.

"Well, you can cut down any trees on this property, if you want." This property was kinda small, but it did have about 5{[Including the one Trowa cut down]} trees ranging from 30 ft., to about 60 ft.. "I'll be around the area, this line going around is my patrol route," the line went from his cabin, past the dig site, through some woods, around the lake, back through some more trees, past the old ranger station, the market and petrol station, and back on the road to the cabin. "I'll be back in a couple hours." He started off on his patrol route, to the Dig Site.

"Whatever, it's not my property, but it's not like anyone else lives here anymore... not after the dig dite incedent." he continued walking to the dig site, and when he got there his eyes welled up with tears, but they didn't run down before he wiped them away. "This place..." the site has beed abandoned for two years, the machinery is rusing, the wooden shacks are rotting away. "It's like a ghost town." he thought, as images of those who had touched those blasted gears transforming right before his eyes, and the others running away in shock, he looked inside the shaft, now boarded up and blocked off with large crates and wood beams in front of the opening. He didn't bother to check the shacks, because opening the doors on them would likely cause them to colapse from the water damage and wood eating insects. He looked away and began walking to the lake through about half a mile of trees, he had a hunting rifle strapped to his back, just in case any wild animals came around.
