Hero's Drive

[ST-84 Sahelanthropus]

"To be honest, I don't know why I didn't." he looked around for the Drive, but it seemed to be gone. "Hey... where is it?"

trowa smiled "ok then" and continued walking tward the fallen tree and cabin, she looked back at his eyes and stopped dead looking into the white wolf's eyes they were red. she stared and shook her head "i'm sorry are you ok" she asked avoiding his eyes, she had never seen that before outside of the asylim.

He looked to the direction in which he heard Trowa's voice, but not exactly seeing a human-like figure due to the mech having a different IR pattern than humans. "Whoa!" he yelled as he fell backwards, landing on his butt. His fall made him close his eyes again, and when he reopened them, his irises were now green. "I take it you're not human either?" he said as he rose to his feet, now able to see physical silouettes normally seen in low-light vision.

"wow" trowa said seeing his eyes change and fell backward on her butt "ya i'm a mecha but did ure eyes just change again" she said rubbing her eyes looking up at the now green eyed wolf, she shook her head, "i'm guessing your not a normal wolf" she said looking at his eyes and at the 2 tails, she had thought nothing of the 2 tails, and his feet, well she walked like that anybody with boots like the ones she made might look like that.

"It's right here." I say lifting my left arm and pointing to the watch.  "The best thing about the drives is that they change into an easily carried form, but on the down side when you 'lose' one you loose all memory of ever haveing it, like I had before I got mine back."  I add on.  "Quite marvelous little devices but also very dangerous in the wrong hands."

gizor perked up at this "does that mean, if someone were to lose their device, would they change to their original form as well ?" he asked

"I'm not a normal wolf, that's right." He blinked, but this time his eyes didn't change. "As for my eyes, I can see different things at different times, but I don't know if they change colors." He shrugs and reaches down to help Trowa to her feet. "I don't really understand it, but it happened about a month ago."

"Yes but at the price it comes I wouldn't suggest it." I reply.

trowa took the offered hand and used it to help her self up, "wow" was all she could say at first "what happened? are you ok" she asked giving her full attention to her second question and she looked around and found a nice patch of moss beneath a tree "here sit down" she said motioning to the rock, trying to pull the large wolf over to sit down. her mind going a mile a minute

"I'm not really sure... I can't remember too much from that day, or even too much of anything else." He sat down next to her, trying to remember to what happened. "For the past two month's, I've just been trying to survive. I haven't been trying to figure that out since I've just been not trying to think."

"One thing has been on my mind, is having the Hero Drive better than being Human? I don't want to end up regreting it when there's no turning back." The question wasn't really pointed at a specific person, but anyone could give a thought on it. Anton sat down, apearently trying to think of something.

"Being like this is what you make of it, but on the bight side no matter what you become, you don't have to buy shoes any more, or coats in some cases."  I say grinning and sitting in a chair.

"I'll think about this." Anton walked to the door, placing his hand on the deadbolt lock and unlocking it. "I'll be at the lake." Anton has left the building, and now he walkes through the woods, rather than take the path around past the trees. This way was shorter, faster and not limited to a set path.

((Continuing on)) Speaking to Trowa, but yet looking down at the ground. "One of the only things I remember is seeing what looked like a cog, then sharp pains in my legs, then just suddenly running through the forest with these new legs. I still don't understand what it all means though."
