Thinking up of video game ideas makes me smile. I always liked coming up with video-game ideas, and sharing them with other people. Like this one:
I thought up this fighting game that's kind of like a fighting game theme park. Actually the whole thing is like the Battle Frontier from the pokemon series. Basically the game stars 16 different cutsey creatures including a fuzzy opossum, an extra terrestrial in a mechanoid UFO, a turtle mixed in with a car, and many other zany creatures, each sporting their own moves, and can gain new moves when they get weapons. But anyway, it's like a fighting game RPG, and you pick one of the 16 creatures and start the game. Like the Battle Frontier, there are multiple facilities, there are 7 main facilities and 5 more adventurous ones, each having their own leader that is a more important looking version of one of the 16 monster. (Since there are 16 monsters and only 12 facilities, 4 monsters will not be used.) Each of the facilities have three difficulties, each with a medal to be one. The easiest gets you a bronze meddle, the medium level gets you silver, and the hardest gets you gold. In all facilities, the last opponent is the facilities head. The opponents are smarter and tougher in Gold Medal challenges than they are on Silver level, and tougher in Silver level than they are in Bronze level. If every you are defeated, you will be taken outside of the facility, and you will have to start all over. I will not explain the leaders, or the rest of the monsters, but I will explain the facilities.
Fight Square: A stage set in the middle of a bustling city. This is just a normal knock-out style challenge with no special rules.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under normal rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under normal rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under normal rules.
Endurance Bridge: A stage set on a bridge over a beautiful river. Trees line the side. This is where you must fight a bunch of opponents, all with 1/4 of their life, but you have to do it all on one bar of life, and the last opponent has a full bar, so you better take as little damage as possible.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 20 opponents under endurance rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 40 opponents under endurance rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 60 opponents under endurance rules.
Leveled Temple: A stage set in a sandy Egyptian themed temple. The battles take place on uneven ground, so plan strategies while shifting from the high and low ground.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under platform rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under platform rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under platform rules.
Technical Dojo: A stage set in front of a japanese temple. There are no life bars her, just a time limit. What determines the winner is how you fight. Your offense, defense, and skill come in to play here.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under technical rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under technical rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under technical rules.
Hazard Cliffs: A stage set on the side of a cliff. Besides fighting the opponent, you also have to dodge falling rocks and deal with heavy winds.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under hazard rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under hazard rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under hazard rules.
Strategy Lake: A stage set in front of a beautiful pond shimmering under hills and sun. Instead of actually fighting, you coach your monster by telling him how to fight. You can also switch your stratagy in battle. Sometimes switching your stratagy can save your monster from a tight situation.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under coach rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under coach rules.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under coach rules.
Knock-out Ring: A stage set inside of a boxing ring inside of an open roof arena. You have the standard lifebars, but you can regain stamina by avoiding the enemy. When someone is out of energy, you must mash buttons to give your monster a second chance. The first time is easier than the second, but the third time you are done for.
Bronze Level Challenge: Beat 10 opponents under knock-out rules.
Silver Level Challenge: Beat 15 opponents under knock-out rules.
Gold Level Challenge: Beat 25 opponents under knock-out rules.
The next five are more complicated.
Rage Jungle: This stage takes place in a think jungle. This is like a normal RPG style game where battles can occure at any time while you are in the jungle. After completing a certain ammount of areas, you are confronted with the leader.
Bronze Level Challenge: Clear 7 areas of the jungle, then fight the leader.
Silver Level Challenge: Clear 14 areas of the jungle, then fight the leader.
Gold Level Challenge: Clear 20 areas of the jungle, then fight the leader.
Puzzle Factory: This stage takes place inside a factory with lots of chains and gears. In here, you have to complete a series of push puzzles that get harder as they go on. Every minute you are in the challenge, you will be hit with a fight. If you can complete a certain ammount of puzzles, you will face the leader.
Bronze Level Challenge: Clear 10 puzzles, then fight the leader.
Silver Level Challenge: Clear 20 puzzles, then fight the leader.
Gold Level Challenge: Clear 30 puzzles, then fight the leader.
Trivia Stage: This is set on a stage where a big pink and blue curten takes the background. You will be asked a series of questions about the entire game. If you get a question wrong, you must fight in a penalty round. Once you are done with the questions, you may face the leader. (This was inspired by a bit in the game Saga Frontier)
Bronze Level Challenge: Answer 20 questions, then fight the leader.
Silver Level Challenge: Answer 35 questions, then fight the leader.
Gold Level Challenge: Answer 50 questions, then fight the leader.
Note: You don't have to get a question correct for it to count to your total, you just have to win the penalty round.
Mystery Gardens: This stage takes place in a garden of an old manor. This is sort of a maze, you are set into a room, and you must pick one of three paths to go down. Usually, they contain a fight, but if you're lucky, the path will lead you to a new area with no fights. When you make it to the end, you fight the leader.
Bronze Level Challenge: Make it through an 8 by 8 maze grid, then fight the leader.
Silver Level Challenge: Make it through a 16 by 16 maze grid, then fight the leader.
Gold Level Challenge: Make it through a 24 by 24 maze grid, then fight the leader. Watch out! In the slew of 1 on 1 battles, there will also be some 1 on 2 battles as well.
Security Tower: This stage takes place inside a giant tower. Here you must climb to a certain level and fight the leader. In the tower, there will be mazes and security guards looking for you. Some security guards move. If a guard sees you, you must fight them.
Bronze Level Challenge: Climb to the 10th floor, then fight the leader.
Silver Level Challenge: Climb to the 20th floor, then fight the leader.
Gold Level Challenge: Climb to the 30th floor, then fight the leader.
I think the ideas are cool, and maybe there will be something like this some day. (Fat Chance)
