Setting: snowy woods

as i am running from the hunters i can smell demestic dogs wishing that there was someone out there to help me. i hear a gun shot and i get hit, i fall to the ground and howl for help as they come closer i try to get up but i can't. i'm hit in the leg i can see the sliver flowing through my vains as i rip my pants leg. all of a sudden  the dog leaps in the air.....i can see the end of my life......but then...............

Seeing another in help, Saphir howls and pounces one of the dogs, snapping it's neck. Taking care of the other as it turns to her, she snarls threateningly at the hunter and grabs Vixin's shirt, pulling her away. "You have got to learn to be swift, young one." She muttered, changing back to a human.

Sighing, Saphir pulled one out of her backpack. "Here. Stay by me. Your brother is gone, just like the rest of my pack."

She nodded, fur rustling. "Don't worry about it. How old are you?"

"Sixteen. How long have you been alone? And how long you been running?" She demanded softly, looking at the direction the sohts rang from.

As the gunfire died down, Saphir sighed sadly. "There goes another set..." She glanced about them, fingers clenched in an angry grip on the strap of her backpack.

"comon we need to find some where warm for the rest of night, then get the antidote at day break."

[Dr. Strange]

She nodded, shouldering her pack. Grumbling at the idiocy of humans, Saphir walked swiftly, feet barely touching the snow. "There's a cave up stream. A few meters west of here. We can rest there for the night. The bears living inside don't mind us. Several of the others left over are there as well."

Cian snapped his neck and looked to the chaos of humans invading the territory he now inhabited. In a flash he found the leader of the assault and tapped him on the should "Hey man, have an extra gun? He took the back of the gun to the back of his head and taking a point blank shot to the back of his head. Cian licked his lips and pulled his silky black main of raven black hair from his face his eyes glowing a faint gold. The human's became disorinanted and fled as he made his way to the gave taking a perch among the top of the cave laying back resting up from his rough nigh.

Forcing herself back into wolf form, Saphir raced off to the cave and pounced on Cian. "Hello love!" She beamed, turning human as she landed on him.
