Help on Deciding Otakon 09' Cosplay

Hey guys, I'm not sure if I posted this in the right category or not. I guess it'll just get moved if it is'nt. ANYWAY, I have a couple of ideas of who I want to cosplay as for Otakon 09'. I'm trying to get a head start now so I can get a jump start on saving money and make the cosplay as good as possible. My sister is a seamstress and I'm hoping she can help me. I'll post some links of pictures. I'm trying to find the least expensive way to make them, without poor quality.

Suguri is cute. I think the Pokemon would be the most fun, but it seems like it would be a lot of work to make three costumes.
