(Planning/OOC) After the Reploid/Neo Arcadia Wars ...

If I start this RP idea up... this will probably be the most complex RP start I have ever seen. For now, I'll just post all of my work so far and leave how people will take to this idea. Please PM me only if you would like to see this started as a regular RP.((Seperated "quote" boxes for convenience of searching.))

In the early 21st century, two once-colleague inventors are pitted head-to-head with their creations. One side defending the rights of humans, the other attempting of controlling the world. Their creations clash... on the side of Justice, a blue-armored robot called Mega Man... and the source of many attempts of controlling the world, Doctor Albert Wily, who normally creates an army to carry on his ambitions. The battles ensues year after year... the two Doctors eventually succumbing to the rigors of time.

Before both of them passed on... Doctor Thomas Light, the creator of Mega Man, went to work on another robot... one that would have the capability to act and make decisions on its own. This robot, named "X", was found in a ruined Lab, having been sealed for more than 30 years by a Dr. Cain. Unable to open the capsule, Cain attempted to recreate X's free-will program... which was a mistake as Light had accounted for the possibility of that free-will being misused. X was also given a conscience, but that had to take 30 years of testing to ensure X's reliability. Another robot was found in the area nearby, but upon release... the red robot went "Maverick" (normally the term given to violent robots, who attack humans and Reploids). The robot was stopped by high-ranking Maverick Hunter, a Reploid that defends humans... the name of the Maverick Hunter was Sigma. When the fighting was done, the red robot was captured and examined... but after no trace of "Maverick" behaviour remained, Zero became a Maverick Hunter... eventually becoming a high-ranking one as well. Upon release, X saw the Mavericks fighting the humans and requested to join the Maverick Hunters. Eventually, X and Zero were betrayed by their commander, Sigma... who declared war on all humans and becoming the most feared Maverick of all. The Reploid Wars continued on, the Earth became ravaged and almost uninhabitable by humans... all humans eventually fleeing to a temporary base on the moon. After efforts for recovery were made by the Reploids and Maverick Hunters, the earth became inhabitable again and humans returned. X and Zero eventually sealed themselves away after so long of fighting...

After a hundred years, a conclusion came about pertaining to the constant fighting of Reploids and humans: give Reploids life-spans and humans bionics, lessening the differences between Reploids and humans drastically and almost placing no noticeable seperation. A "utopian" society was then created named Neo Arcadia... but in secret to the public, Reploids (and some humans with them) were destroyed for attempting to create a new power source, as that is what they believed caused the original Reploid conflicts. Among the "stated Mavericks" was a human scientist named Ciel, and in her desperation to escape from Neo Arcadia's forces, she ventures upon a ruined lab. Inside was the body of a legendary warrior... Zero. Using a Cyber-Elf (physical form of AI'ed Data, if "used", the cyber-elf will die), she awakens him and he saves her in return, having a form of "hibernation sickness" as he cannot remember anything when he first awakens. He fights alongside Ciel to allow her to make her energy source, the Resistance against Neo Arcadia (normally just called the Resistance) maintains a steady ground and buys Ciel enough time for her to do her work as they are constantly hunted by Neo Arcadia. The battles eventually took Zero into a space station... his fighting making the station plummet to the Earth. In the end, Zero makes the ultimate sacrifice and takes control of the station to save as many lives as he can, losing his own in the process.

Years after Neo Arcadia was decimated (Early 24th century), Reploids and humans live in peace, the legends of the Heroes are no longer known. Humans volunteered to be enfused with DNA of creatures that were almost all-but-lost in the Reploid and Neo Arcadia wars so as to possibly recreate those "lost" creatures. Retaining some humanity, these "Furs" join the ranks of the humans (both called "organics" by Reploids), the DNA enfusions allowing them to continue on the lost creatures through their own bodies. Mavericks still occur once-in-a-while, even some "Furs" and humans join them...

Iron: Easily alloyable material, rusts in the presence of oxygen in pure form, very common material. Does not bend or melt easily, normally easy to keep traction with this material. Somewhat dense and magnetic material. Primarily used in standard ammunition.
Gold: Easily bendable material. Highly conducive (electricity flows through it easily), melts easily if not alloyed. Lighter than iron per cubic inch.
Titanium: Can bend, but retains it's shape easily ("rubber" type of metal), very conducive and does not melt easily. Approximately the same in density as gold.
Magnesium: (In pure form) Chemically reactive material, highly conducive.
Silicon: Conducive only in pure form, semi-conductive with slight "impurities".
Spent Uranium: A very dense and electrically-conducive material, mostly used in anti-tank ammunition. This material is also slightly radioactive as it's derived from the original substance from old nuclear reactors.
Carbon (Graphite compound): Slides easily, in powder form works as a non-petroleum lubricant. As a coating, slides off impacts somewhat easily at angles, but shatters at direct hits. Very light-weight compound. Can filter light as a film.
Carbon (Diamond compound): Once made into a shape, retains shape under most impacts. Slow reaction to light (makes carbon dioxide) if not filtered. More resilient than most metals but not flexible or conductive.
Rubber (non-metal reinforced): Very insulative (doesn't spread electricity easily) and can melt in higher temperatures. Withstands high direct impacts due to it's reactiveness, but has high traction for indirect impacts. If used as "sole", can quiet movement.
Ceramics: Very thermal/electricity insulative, rigid, and chemically stable combination of metal and compounds. Mostly used for less-flexible structures (such as thermal plating for shuttles), very ideal for plates of heavy armor. It is more dense than rubber, graphite, magnesium, titanium, or gold, but less dense than iron or spent uranium.
Kevlar-Weave: This "fabric" is a specialized material for absorbing impacts, mostly from regular ammunition. Made from mixture of metals and fabrics, it retains the conductivity from the metals it is derived from. Lighter in weight than normal "plate" armor and even shock-absorbtion gel, it was not meant for extensive battle wear-and-tear.
Shock-absorbtion Gel: Contained in a fluid-retaining kevlar-weave, this "gel" is normally fluid (flexible) until an impact hits it, causing the gel to become solid. When it becomes solid, it can even prevent damage from small explosive projectiles (such as Rocket-Propelled Grenades) without further damage. After a set time (determined by mass of gel and impact type), the solid-gel reverts back to its fluid state, 3 minutes 30 seconds recorded for 20 lbs of RPG-damage-sustained gel. Not an ideal material for close "firefights" as a small-firearm class weapon will cause the gel to become solid.

Buster Gun (arm): Fires basic "blasts" of plasma as a projectile weapon. Slightly more powerful shot-for-shot than it's smaller "hand-held" counterparts developed from this. Since the hand retracts to allow the muzzle of the weapon to be extended, the hand that the Buster Gun takes the place of cannot be used while the Buster is active. Does not require outside "recharging" as it is considered part of the body. Its bulkier size also causes it to overheat after prolonged use.

(handheld variant): Also fire plasma blasts, slightly faster (in shots-fired-per-second) and is easier to aim than the "arm" counterparts, this one requires recharging when not in use due to the small and disconnected-from-powersource nature of the weapon. Does not overheat easily.

Plasma "Saber"/"Saber"-based weapons: Using laser-contained superheated plasma, these short-reaching weapons were designed to cut through most metals. The shapes of such weapons range from simple "swords" (from which the name is derived) to more elaborate melee weapons, examples being knuckledusters, tessen (battle fans), axes, chain-and-hook combination, spear, "ninja-claws", and even blade-grieves (boots designed to lethalize kicking). Others are possible as this type is only limited to a melee weapon Even though that the earlier designs of the "sabers" were small, seperated-from-body weapons, some were incorporated into bionics and even bodies of Reploids in later models after the overheating issue was sovled from prolonged use.

"Solid" projectile weapons: Self-explanitory in most occasions... these are modified guns which instead of using gunpowder for propelling, it uses a controlled and self-contained Electromagnetic Pulse (self-contained and seperated to prevent damage to any electronic components in the user) to launch the bullet. Most variants are pistols and rifles, very few are actually built-in for the reason of the Electromagnetic Pulse. Limited mostly due to sheer number and material of the ammunition. They look like their "ancient" variants, allowing a more comfortable "feel" to them.
"Solid-State" melee weapons: Mostly simple to make and use, the only modifications to these are an added sonic/electromagnetic resonator (SEMR) throughout the entire weapon to allow it to withstand a direct strike from a "saber" or a Buster Gun. Mostly metal to allow the SEMR maximum transfer of power, there are some variants made from ceramics, but retain a "core" of a magnetic material throughout the weapon. Resembles their "ancient" variants.

Height/Weight combinations affect speed, reaction, strength, endurance, and even where you can fit. ((tunnels, ledges, overall accessibility)) Higher weight and height means larger body-mass, so speed and leg movement will be slower, but strength will be increased.
Bionics Infusion Percentage and Locations affect speed, strength, endurance, reaction and flexibility (agility). More bionics mean less "natural" parts, which mean less endurance and flexibility, but more strength is definite. Reaction/speed are determined by material in which the parts are made.
Armor Percentage and Locations ("wearing weight"): Primary defense, protects bionics and/or living tissue. Higher weight and oddly-placed armor (at joints) reduce speed greatly
Materials used in Equipment/Weapons/Armor can affect how well-armored you may be and how easily you can move.
Choosing a side (Maverick, Hunter, or Citizen) determines only which side you are on and who you fight. Mavericks hate all organics and those defending them, but some organics have joined the ranks of the Mavericks in hopes of getting "power". Maverick Hunters are the defense force to protect the Citizens, comprised of organics and Reploids alike. Citizens can comprise of mercenaries or non-combatants not directly affiliated with the Mavericks or Maverick Hunters (can support both).

Fill in all applicable portions for the profile setup. The following are limitations to specific portions of the profile...

If entirely "organic" (no skeletal/muscular bionics) Limit maximum carried/worn weight to half of body mass: If 300 pounds in body weight, you can carry/wear up to 150 pounds.
If "organic" with skeletal/muscular bionics up to 50 percent of the body, Limit maximum carried/worn weight to half of body mass plus skeletal/muscular bionics weight (organ-replacements do not count for "carry/wear" weight or skeletal/muscular bionics): Same 300 pounds, but 50 pounds being skeletal/muscular bionics, then total carry/wear weight can be up to 200 pounds.  If same body mass, but the 50 pounds were in organ-replacements, it would count as if just 300 pounds organic for "carry/wear" limitations.
If "organic" with skeletal/muscular bionics 51 percent or higher or Reploid, Limit maximum carried/worn weight to equal of body weight: 300 lbs body = 300 lbs carry/worn capability.

Generator rules: If having any bionics or the character is a Reploid, at least 25 percent (one-quarter) of the total mechanical portions (including organ-replacements and built-in weapons) of the character's body weight must be devoted to a worn-generator, which has to remain in the chest-torso area : 300 pounds, 10 pounds being in machine parts. The generator weight necessary to power such devices would be at least 2.5 pounds.

A secondary generator must be devoted to a charger for any carried/worn "Buster" or "Saber" weapons, 20 percent of the weapons' total weight must be devoted to a worn-generator, placement is not limited to chest-torso: Total carried/worn "Buster" and "Saber" weapon weight being 10 pounds, the necessary generator would have to be 2 pounds.

NO SHAPESHIFTERS! As much as you may want to continuously swap 'sonas on here... if you're human on here you can only become a "Fur" and gain bionics one time. You can't be reverted back to human or can't be made into a Reploid. If you're a Reploid, you cannot gain "organic" parts.

If you choose a "species" something besides Reploid, human, or any animal currently existant in real-life, you MUST contact me with a storyline behind your character. If accepted, be sure to add it to your profile at the end. If not accepted, please change it or your profile will be removed!

Miscellaneous items are weighed as follows:

Lock-pick/Data-hack devices normally range 2 to 5 pounds due to the size of the individual using it. Self-contained power source.
Nano-regenerative devices for "organics" range 4 to 8 pounds, dependant on the size of the individual. Self-contained power source. (Can't be used by 51-or-more percent bionic "organics" or Reploids)
Nano Frame Repair devices for Reploid/mostly-mechanical "organics" range no less than 7 pounds, but can go up to 10 percent of the weight of larger individuals due to sheer size of the mechanical portions. Self-contained power source. (Can't be used by 50-or-less percent bionic "organics")
Basic Tool-kit (portable) for various situations that requires a non-violent approach, about 6 pounds with power-source, 4 pounds in non-powered set.
Demolitionist Explosives with various triggers (wire, pressure, heat, "dead-man", remote-controlled) are normally 1 to 2 pounds.
Light-Shields are glove-worn self-defense shield emitters, 2 pounds each for up to 8 foot height/400 pounds standard weight, 6 pounds each for larger individuals. Power source is self-contained (but replaceable) and will deplete after 4 uses. Extra power packs are 1 pound per glove for smaller Light-Shields, 3 pounds per glove for larger Light-Shields. No matter the size, the Light-shields are used by extending both palms in the direction of the oncoming attack, hip-packs/backpacks for small items (Light-shield power-packs, tool-kits, ect.) can be as little as 1 pound or as much as 10 pounds.

Well, everyone can go on ahead and create a profile using the last "box" in the first post to their liking. I'll make a profile for myself that follows the ruling to help others see what I mean. Weapons: 13 pound Cavarly sabre-like Ninjato at 4'6'' length blade with a 5 pound sheath at 4'9'' length and having a SEMR unit as well (solid, worn at hip, total 18 pounds and 2 "hands" since the sheath is used as a weapon), Twin "Buster" pistols  with 4 pounds each and 1 foot by 2 feet measurements (energy projectile, sides of ribs pointed to back, total 8 pounds and 2 "hands).
Non-weapon Equipment and weight (include generators):  Standard generator at 20 pounds as a belt on the pants, Secondary generator at 2 pounds worn on a clip on the "belt", Light-Shields worn on hands (6 pounds total) and 2 spare batteries per glove (4 pounds total), 6 pound Nano-regenerative device, 4 pound Tool-kit (non-powered), 2 pound backpack for anything not worn on the body.

Total "carried/worn" weight: 114 pounds ((Optional)Max carry: 212 pounds)
