How you became a Furry...

I guess It's my turn to confess.

Honestly I think I've always been a fan of anthros.  I've always gotten along better with animals than most people, and my eariest favorite stories were the ones with animals  or animal based creatures as the main themes.

I blame the following! :  Aesop's Fables!   Leo (or Kimba) the white lion anime (gah i'm so old) Thundercats / Silverhawks / Tigersharks, and of course, Watershipdown,  My little Pony... and the icing on the cake that made me stop drawing just animals, dragons and unicorns.... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who taught me that animals could walk on two legs!

actually i think i've just been naturally furry. I've always loved wearing fake animal tails and ears ever since i can remeber. Also
I used to pretend i was a animal when i was like 5 and i still have the first pair of kitty ears i made (made them when i was 5, because it was my arts and crafts phase O.o) That and i'm actually faster when i run around on my hands and feet compared to running on two legs.

Aye, same for me...truth be told I became a furry totally by accident...I stumbeled upon a furry story site and then from then on I was obessesed(not to a crazy degree mind you, but obsessed none the less)

Now if you will all excuse me...I must go and work on some furry stories I have in the process of finishing...

Same here.  I used to watch "Looney Toons", "TMNT" and "The Littles" and "Calvin and Hobbes" without realizing I was watching more than the story.  They all had a similiar theme.   Then at the age of 16 I was taken to a bar/club where people were being bodypainted as cats.  Again I think I didn't realize what was making me curious (besides the bathing suit... LOL).  But I then when interNet finally came about, I started surfing bodying painting, to tranformations, to furries.  I then I realized.  Hey wouldn't it be cool to have a tail?  And paws?  And nice furry fur to rub against?  Yeah... real coool...

well when i was little i always loved animals and would always play around like i was a wear wolf or something at school and me and other ppl always thought it was a stage i was goign through but as years went on and i grew older (not that old...) it still stayed in my head and i lead on to things as of reincarnation as a wolf or something

but when i was smaller i liked things like snakes and rapters and dragons. id always dream i was one or something. because in your dreams you have no reality, only what you make of it and what your mind belives in. and my longest animal stage was the rapter one i would try to dream about it every night and then i thought about wings on it (never did look right) but for a few years i went with that until i started living at brads house then i met ray (his step dad) he has an obsesion with wolves

naturally it rubbed off on me when time took its tole and the show such as inuyasha and wolfs reign (also another cat lady show i cant remember) started showing on adult swim and as being me i would always watch it. but when they cancled shows like that cat one or the wolf reign i was really pissed especially the wolf reign because it just went around in a loop like the director and the makers jsut grew tired of it

iv tried to find another show or book like that story but could never find one and so i gave up on it (lets skip ahead awhile shall we ^^)

so previously i saw that new movie blood and chocolate (it looks jsut like wolfs reign) i really want to see that this saterday i think but im broke so ill just have to watch it at a friends house when it come out on blockbuster

but last weak i saw my first furry on imvu and i thought that looks cool ^^ so naturally i looked up a costume and found my fav animal (white wolf) or at least close enough to a white wolf and then i saw the publisher was maxis29 i think and i always loved her products so i saved up (or just barrowed from a friend in this case) and bought the wolf costume

shortly after that about a day i stumbled onto a furry that i cant remember his name and he said something about FF at the time i didnt no what the heck he was talking about so i just left it alone and nodded lol

but when i was searching through hp i came apon maxis hp and saw the FF banner i clicked on it and LOVED that there are so many furries on here ^^ so i guess im sorta a late bloomer furry as some call it idk im still learning the ropes hope ya like my life story sry its so long
