Hell Date
« on: February 03, 2009, 11:45:54 PM »
Hey peoples!

Okay! I'm working on a horror comic called Hell Date. Typically, most horror movie monsters or horror comic monsters are male right? Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, Solomon Hitch/Halloween Man, Pinhead, etc. The only girl that ever comes to mind would be Cassie Hack and she's more a slasher killer than an actual slasher.
I want to get some feedback; y'know, find out what people like or dislike about it, what I could improve on, original ideas that I may have overlooked, etc.

Here's the basic plot:
The background story:  Pamela Ryan was the only girl in her school that was actually scared of human interaction; she couldn't touch other human beings and she had a lot of trouble speaking to or looking them in the eyes. She'd never been kissed, never had a boyfriend and had no male friends. She was not only mocked for it but the other students often taunted and teased her. During one incident in particular, while trying to escape a group of boys who were taking the joke a little too far, Pam slipped and split her head on a sharp rock. Fearing punishment, the boys took Pamela’s body, unaware that she was still alive but unable to move, and tossed it over the Cliffside and into the lake. Pamela drowned.

---- Why didn't Pamela come back and start killing people immediately? Water calmed her spirit. Her body rested at the base of the lake for years until it was disturbed by a rowboat tipping and going under.

Twenty-five years later Pamela returns from the dead as Pam Wrath seeking revenge as an angry spirit.
Pamela Ryan and Pam Wrath are actually two separate beings. Pam was born from Pamela's rage, which was bottled up inside of her and kept for years without being expressed. They share similar physical and emotional traits and attributes, but Pam takes things more personally, is more outgoing and acts out according to her feelings exactly. She is far more homicidal than Pamela could have imagined.
However, unable to actually touch her prey, Pam is forced to kill the first three victims, Nora James, Luke Varres, and Harold Auto (all people who had taunted her in highschool), by luring them into deadly traps. Finally, when knowledge of her breaks surface, Pamela is able to enter bodies and steals the corpse of a recently deceased 15-year-old. With this her killing spree really begins.
At first she only goes after those who wronged her whilst she was alive, but then her focus starts to move away as the number of them steadily decreases(for obvious reasons). She starts going after horny teenagers, and holy shiznit pickles, if she catches you having pre-marital sex you're going to wish that you were never born! However, the longer Pam stays on Earth the more personally she takes everything and, on a few accounts, she actually kills a person simply because they said her name wrong (it's Pam, not Pamela anymore).

The comic is done in a black, white and red coloring style for blood and horror, is very gorey and very mature. It's done up like an old 80's horror movie but it takes place in the present.

- Like many horror monsters, Pam has one prominent weakness, that being heights. Even though she technically died from drowning Pam still feels that it was because she fell onto the stone from too high up and she doesn't actually remember being in the water, only falling into it. Heights scare her to no ends but water calms her.
-- Like so many horror movies where the monster keeps coming back because they arn't really dead, the same thing happens to Pam. She doesn't even actually 'die' at the end of the first segment. She's lured to and then pushed off of the highest diving board at the school pool. But once she hits the base she just gets up, angrier than ever, that is, until the person who had drained the pool slips and spills water back into it. When the water hits Pam it smacks her against the wall and as she is submerged she becomes weaker and weaker until her soul falls into a deep sleep.
--- Of course, Pam's got to have a trademark weapon. Freddy and his blade-finger glove, Cassie and her usual 'kiss it' bat, Jason and his machette, Leatherface and the chainsaw, Chuckie and his lovely little knives XD. What does Pam get? Some giant scissors. :D yeah, just imagine that running at you; raven haired-temptress with an algae covered face, bearing giant scissors, screaming and cursing!
---- Pam's also got a wierd sense of humor. She enjoys sarcasm most of all because then she doesn't actually have to deal with people.
------ Do not call Pam a [female dog], you will regret it!

In total, there are five segments to the story; not five chapters, five segments!
Hell Date I: (plot above)

Hell Date II- A Woman Scourned:
Pam has been buried in a graveyard not far from town but her sleep is disturbed by another girl in a situation similar to hers. When that girl calls out for help, pleading god to send her an angel to protect her... she gets Pam instead (go figure). Pam doesn't actually intend to help the girl at all really, she's just happy to be awake and able to kill again, as she still has a physical form (the body she stole from the 1st segment). But when Pam realizes how alike they are, she starts attending school with the girl and they end up becoming fantastic friends.
But then Pam starts killing again. She begins to kill off those who are ruining her friend's life.

Hell Date III- The Kiss
Once more, resurrected from the needs of Aimee Arbuckle, Pam Wrath lives again. She takes up her old habits of killing people off, and it's not long before she discovers that someone had been pretending to be her, killing people in the same manner that she did.
She goes back to her old habits, befriending Aimee Arbuckle, who actually knows she's a killer. Then she meets Todd Dawkins, a little bit of a goofball, very oblivious to the world around him, indifferent to the recent new bouts of 'Wrath Killings', and, most importantly, is not interested in intercourse. Todd becomes Pam's first male friend and, eventually, her first kiss.

Hell Date IV- Pamela Lives
Pam is resurrected again, this time, on purpose and this time into her actual body! A coven of teenage witches who idolize Pam Wrath as a superior being, bring her back to seek revenge for them on a school of ignorant fools. Why will Pam help them? Why, they're all saving themselves for marriage. She takes on the role of their leader and teaches them how to properly kill a person without being caught. The girls are 'The Fare Five' and they are not a force to be messed with.

Hell Date V- Death
For the final time, Pam is called upon. A girl, who had heard about the Pam Wrath resurrection rumors, decides to try it for herself, not sure if it would actually work. When it does she acts a little too bossy to Pam and, believe it or not, orders her to kill a certain few people. Pam takes her time, not killing anyone just yet and as she learns more about the girl who summoned her, she finds she likes her les and less and she's just like one of the girls who harassed her in life. So, of course, Pam kills her. Because she's in a new area and not many people know about her, she starts new. Her killings take a different turn so people don't realize it's Pam Wrath. Then the 'messengers' come for her...

So, I just want to know what people think. Do you or don't you like it? What do you think I can do to improve it? Do you have any fun ways for Pam to kill people? (example: Nora James is talking to Pam in a mirror when Pam breaks it and pierces Nora's throat with the shards, she scares Luke Varres and tricks him into running into a piano wire trap, and she chases Harold Auto off the same cliffside he threw her off!) What do you think I might want to change? Have a random name you want me to use for one of the victims? (I don't have everyone yet, there are a lot!) Go ahead! I'm looking for comments and critisism!!
Rawrs! Can you defeat the power of the merrkat!?

Sounds good but watch your descriptions and useages of substitutions for swear words and descriptions for sexual actions. Neither are allowed on this site.
