MSN Virus how to look out for it
« on: March 10, 2009, 11:08:10 PM »
ok there seems to be a trojan/virus that comes saying I found your pic online or is this you ho? when you click it and if you are to not paying attention like me you get a nasty trojan/virus  that begins to access your MSN and send the link to your contacts infecting your friends if they click and download

Example: (I actually copy pasted but took out my email address)
look at yourself. 8-) :P htp://msn-gallery.net/view.php?=@hotmailcom <AVOID THIS KINDA STUFF

eh, delete the messenger, then reload it and run virus scan. Most programs now will neutralize it. If they don't, manually do it. PCHell.com helps you get rid of a lot of unwanted junk and other stuff. I use it a lot.

heh, its a good thing i dont open anything from anyone ... unless they let me know that they are sending something

another way to beat it ... is to block the person who you got the virus from ... it worked for one of my friends
With 955 characters for a signature, I can try make something funny or interesting but no, I'm just gonna sit here and type instead of going to work because breaking the fourth wall is more humour than trying to figure out how I'll get access to my other laptop; picking up my charger that I left at a friends house, around 40 miles away...

Good going Sparky, you did well. On the plus side, it's given you a chance to accidentally revisit some old stomping grounds and see what madness you can create during this seemingly temporarily return.

Stuff like this is always going around...

Just keep a good anti-virus program on your computer and be careful about what you click.
