When Rivers Runs Red

[Dr. Strange]

"A small indication by the difference in the sound of its footfalls. It seems to be hurt, its limping:favoring its' left leg. About seven to nine feet tall, very slim..." She mumbles back, cocking her head a little to the right.

[Fyroh Ilqe Gahn]

Fyroh looked puzzled. "How do you work that stuff out? How do you know it's not five feet tall and quite chubby, but the same weight?... I guess it doesn't matter right now." He kept his sword ready.

[Dr. Strange]

"A simple deduction by the way it walks. It carries it's weight on two-four legs. Those legs are thick, muscled and hold the weight evenly if its healthy. Right now...It can't walk on all four so it limps. If it was short, chubby and weighed the same, it'd be unable to limp. It'd have to crawl." She says, uncoscious how she sounds much like a recording of a lecturing teacher.

[Fyroh Ilqe Gahn]

Fyroh blinked. "Whatever you say." he replied, not having listened to any of that. "But do you think it's a threat?..."

[Dr. Strange]

"That..." She pauses, listening harder. "no, I don't think so but I'm unsure. Keep your ears and eyes catious, I'm going to go see what it is." She mumbles, sliding foreward on her belly.

[Fyroh Ilqe Gahn]

Fyroh twirled the blade in his hand once, then held it steady. "Alright... be careful." he muttered.

[Dr. Strange]

She nods once, then freezes as the noise stops. "What's going on?" She wondered softly.

A low, warning snarl come from a few paces in front of her; muffled by the bushes.

"uh huh..." She mutters, crawling foreward again. "Come on out to play, we won't hurt you."

The snarl gets loude as she nears it. All of a sudden, it stops.

Fyroh gripped his sword tighter. Just in case Sorain was in trouble, he slowly began approaching.

[Dr. Strange]

"No, stay there." She mouths.
{gotta go..}

[Renaud Magicpaw]

Here Fyroh I'll go forward seeing as I don't have a weapon.  Also if it is hurt I can fix it right up Says Rosuto as he leaps once more into the trees so he may follow Sorain (ooc I don't mean he jumps up and lands on a branch I mean he jumps up and grabs onto it also the reason he travels in the trees is it dosn't leave footprints and you cant step on a twig.)

[Dr. Strange]

Sorain grunts with frustration then shakes her head, creeping foreward again. Her eyes dull so they can't be so easily noticed. She moves slowly, keeping her body loose; like water; and her claws extended. Something's obviously wrong here....Its been a few days since the rivers have turned red...There shouldn't be anything bigger than me around anymore....

The snarl got louder, it was moving towards her instead of shrinking away. Who goes there? The voice was gravelly, gruff and hoarse.

Fyroh didn't like the sound of it; to be careful, he drew nearer to where Sorain was, but still out of sight.

[Dr. Strange]

Sorain grunted and pawed the ground gently. "I do." She grinned macabre-like. Her eyes were glistening as sweat streamed down her body, slickening it and causing it to slip easily through the brambles surrounding her. The brambles were letting off a horrid smell, Sorain's nose twitched.

The voice rang out again, Who is I? It was demanding and harsh, condescending. Much like a parental unit with a misbehaving child.

[Renaud Magicpaw]

Hey Sorain did you forget about me? calls Rosuto from the tree's.  I might not be much help if a fight breaks out but when it comes to combat suport who better to be at your side than a medic.

[Dr. Strange]

The voice roars hungrily. Medic? Medic sounds good...

Sorain looked ahead and nodded. "Sure, come on over but stay back aways." She crawls foreward again and pounces on the creature, snarling. Tail whipping around, she growls again. "Nice to see that another has survived."
