I stop. And why is that? I turn and look at him.

if this matter were truly urgent, you wouldn't wait for the match to end before you told me, but I can wait, showing up in the arena now might get Khairn suspicious...

[Shenzii]

I walk towards him. "I can talk now, then." I looked at him, my eyes darkening to a deep sapphire blue.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Huh?....but thhpthht..." I tried to say something, but the surprise just screwed up my response So, what were you trying to talk to me about?

[Shenzii]

I stood close to him and looked at him. "Why did that Dragoness try to kill me..."

[Chrono Blackwyng]

*sighs* "Before I met you, she was a familar my subconsious made to keep me company while I waited for my next match, eventually we fell in love...but about a year into the relationship, apparently Khairn had Opha lock her up in a chamber that prevents any means of escape, so someone outside the vault let her out, and she found her way back to me, but when she realized that I had fallen for you, she assumed that you were 'inadequate' for my standards, and tried to, well....eliminate you from my mind...follow?" *takes a deep breath*

[Shenzii]

I look at him. "why is it so hard to talk to me? or tell me something?"

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Because most people are afraid of me, and I was worried you would become one of those people because of some past issues...most of the girls I met before you were turned off when they realized I controlled a very tempermental fire..."

[Shenzii]

"I took that chance. I'm not just going to run away. Stop worrying." I looked at him my eyes lightening slightly.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Okay, I was also partially worried that Khairn would do the same to you...but nuts to Khairn, I'm happy just knowing you still like me" *smiles*

[Shenzii]

"He wouldn't, I don't think at least. You said you created her. So she held power like yours or similar." I looked at the ground my tail blew in the slight breeze.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Actually, if my life was in danger, she would have all of my power added onto her own, and use it to protect me...but enough of the past, and I realized I still havn't had a match yet..."

[Shenzii]

"Of course... A match.. that's what your worried about?" I looked up at him.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Well, I'm the only one who hasn't fought yet out of all the contestants....so I'm just wondering why.."
