"Why are you his slave?" Philly asked, looking at chrono as he entered the room.

[Shenzii]

"because, I signed a contract... Whatever he says I have to obey..." I said looking at the ground.

[Philly Tanuki]

"Wow, that sucks...I hope you got something good out of the deal."

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"There is a way to breach it, but you'd have to do what I did..."

[Shenzii]

"Money is the only thing I get out of it..." I looked at Philly. I looked to Chrono, "What do you mean?"

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Destroy all evidence that you existed here, and leave the arena..."

[Shenzii]

"Chrono, I want to remain 'me'. I dont feel like doing anything about it right now anyway...." I said looking around.

[Philly Tanuki]

"Leave the arena?  Are you sure that's the only way?"

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Well, if Khairn is dead, the contract is void since the one you serve is no longer among the living..."

[Shenzii]

I look at Philly, hoping he wouldn't get emotionally defensive about it. I looked at the wall, "It might be... there might be a loophole in the contract.. but i would need to look it over." I said

"Of course...there's always a loop hole."  "I'll talk to Maren later about this" he thought, forgetting Nix could read minds.

[Shenzii]

"About what?" I asked allowed, my curiosity getting the best of me.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"There might be more than one loophole...Khairn really doesn't care much for his employees, so his contract might not be as binding as it seems..."

Philly was shocked for a second about what Nix had just asked then quickly said "Oh umm...nothing."

I looked at Philly confused. I then focused my attention on my paycheck. "Well at least I was payed well," I said showing Chrono the sum. Philly, What were you talking about?
