Salutations

My recent move has awakened a long dormant interest in the fandom.  Recently my journey has taken me to the central Florida area where I have moved in with a pair of very wonderful people looking for a third roommate, one is an Owl, the other a very unique Parragon (parrot/dragon hybrid).  They have introduced me to a very lovely Phoenix whom I admit I have quite the crush on.  I have always had a passing interest I will admit, but suddenly surrounding myself has ignited a passion.  So here I am, anxious to meet others and learn more about the community.

With 955 characters for a signature, I can try make something funny or interesting but no, I'm just gonna sit here and type instead of going to work because breaking the fourth wall is more humour than trying to figure out how I'll get access to my other laptop; picking up my charger that I left at a friends house, around 40 miles away...

don't mind him, he's paranoid you'll take his Pheonix from him, but she loves HIM with all her heart, and he should stop being overprotective, it's really starting to bother me after 2 years of it

I assure you I mean no harm and will not be stealing anyone's Phoenix.  I do mean the bird if that helps, well, a person with a phoenix fursona (feathersona?). I seem to have found myself a miniature aviary with an owl, parrot (though part dragon) and phoenix.  But that does bring up an interesting question, if mammal is furry, and reptile is scalie, is there a separate title for birds?  Unless I have my info wrong, which is entirely possible because I am very new to all this and still do not know the terminology.

Bird "furries" are usually called avians. As far as I know, at least.
