Yeah, it really does depend on the people when it comes to school relationships. Some are too immature and/or not ready for a serious commited relationship. (No offense to anyone who may fit that bill.)
I believe you and TheResult will last, Rigor, especially since your relationship gets stronger when you have disagreements. That's how the best relationships work, all bad things just make the relationship stronger and make the couple closer.
That's how it works with my mate and I as well.
Well, I don't exactly believe that there's only one person for everybody (just ask those who get married after their spouse dies, although I'll never do that). But when I think of the title "the One", I think of the definition as "the person who is right for you and completes you" and it doesn't necessarily mean there's just one, just that that's the person that you've chosen that fits what you want for a partner.
I mean, yeah, it would be way to hard to find "the One" if it meant just one person, but that's not exactly it (in my mind at least).
