The Crystal Legacy

[Xleena]

Xleena stared at Chrono's hand. 'That aint good..'  she muttered to herself. She still hadn't gotten used to the magical pressure, which was really unusual, and something wasn't right. Her grandfather's words echoed in her mind and made her feel uneasy.
Snapping out of her own thoughts, she asked 'is there any good weapon stores around here? I can hardly train without a weapon.'

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Frustrated at not being able to find it, Chrono gets up and quickly answers. "in the next town, theres a specialty shop thats good with unique weapons like scythes, they should easily be able to have yours repaired or upgraded." Then he returns to search his pockets, then searches Grimsy.

[Xleena]

Xleena kept an eye on his palm and replied 'Well, i'm happy to go anytime soon, but i'd need a guide, and we'd also need to tell Kindran.'

'You better keep your eyes sharp, that crystal might have some bad intention..' Her grandfather's voice stated in her mind.

[Lumi]

after being searched by chrono he could finally put down his arms. "I thought you knew by now i don't steal from my friends." Not being able to get it out of his head he asks chrono "what were you going to show me? not any monster organs or something gross like that?"

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"It was a really nice crystal, it was black and had a purple glow to it, if you saw the fight with me and Xleena, you would understand how powerful"

[Xleena]

Xleena laughed. 'See those craters there Grimsy? That was from an attack I did, and it hardly scratched him..'
Looking into the distance she asked, 'so where is Kindran then?'

[Lumi]

as Xleena points out the craters Grimsy shouts out loud "oh my god!!" out of sheer shock "Attack that powerful could easily kill someone!"

[Xleena]

Xleena shyly smiled '..well.. I guess so...heh'
Clearly flattered, Xleena cleared her voice, and replied 'so where did you end up staying last night Grimsy?'

[Lumi]

"I stayed at Kindran's house in the guest room" grimsy replied "What about you?" while still looking at the craters and wondering how on earth did that crystal protect chrono from such mighty attack

[Xleena]

'I went back to my inn.' She replied 'Can you believe it? They cook monster meat there! That's pretty rare nowadays, and pretty brave. The packs those monsters are in could attack them for that!'
She grinned 'It was called the Gillylake Inn, you know it?'

[Lumi]

"i think i have heard about it before but i never stay in the inn's the streets are good enough for me" grimsy answered in modest tone

[Xleena]

Shocked, Xleena quizzed 'you have no home?? What about your family? Do you have enough gil? Would you like some?'
(although this seems rather pompus, shes rather caring at heart)

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"If Grims needed money, he would have already pilfered it..." Chrono quickly replied, seeing the crystal is now in his hand, literally.

[Lumi]

"That is true also i have no family except if you count chrono and kindran..."  he said pointing out the truth in chrono's words "and chrono did you find the thing already?"

[Xleena]

'Ah, well its good that you have those two... they seem kind.' Replied Xleena who was eying Chrono's hand.
