The Crystal Legacy

[Lumi]

"Phew... that was close, i owe you one!" he said "We probably have to team up to stop that!" while avoiding the attack he observed it, looking for any openings that could be used to stop it

[Xleena]

Xleena unleashed a wind attack to try and counter Chrono's tornado. 'Grimsy, can you see any spots?!' she called out.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chrono stopped spinning against the wind attack and his sword flew out of his hand, landing a good ten feet behind him and planting firmly with the blade hitting the ground first. The sword gave off a pulse of the same energy the crystal had, and the hilt had a similar crystal in the center socket. "So dizzy~" Chrono fell down and his head lolled about while his inner balance started to correct itself.

[Xleena]

'...oh, guess we don't need to attack him then.' Xleena gushed, walking up to Chrono and planting her arms firmly on his shoulders, giving him more balance. 'Where on earth has all this power come from?!'

[Lumi]

"could it be that sword? There are cursed weapons that exist, right?" he wondered as he was looking at the sword "is there any way to purify cursed weapons anyway?"

[Xleena]

Xleena paused for a moment, thinink of possible choices. 'Well I do believe that there are a few holy cities dotted about in this country' She thought again for a second and said 'I think there is one about 3 weeks walk away....perhaps.'

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chrono was still somewhat dizzy when the hand the crystal was embedded in opened out towards the sword. The sword let off a 'ping' sound before ripping out of the ground and the hilt flying perfectly into Chrono's hand. He suddenly stopped feeling dizzy and looked at the sword. "I think my sword just got agumented with the crystal, this is going to take awhile to master..."

[Kindran Ornitier]

Kindran walks upon the battle scene and sees the scarring on the land. "What in the name of the Ancients happened here?!" He cried as he sprinted the last 150 meters. Taking his companions emotional state into account there had been a battle. But no monster in the continent had that much destructive power.

[Xleena]

'We...were erm, practicing...!'
Xleena managed, feeling a little shocked at the amount of damage they had caused.

[Kindran Ornitier]

"Um.... Maybe I'm mistaken but doesn't practicing usually involve not trying to kill each other?" Kindran said as he stopped by his friends, somewhat out of breath.

[Xleena]

Xleena chuckled, still feeling a bit faint. 'Well I do see what you mean...' Looking at Grimsy and Chrono she asked 'Is it okay if I get a new scythe before we go.. I kinda...broke mine?'

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chrono looked back at Xleena and cocked his head to the left. "Scythe...oh, sorry about that... I kinda over-did that attack" he apologized, remembering how his power almost killed her in the process.

[Lumi]

"Ohh cmon we weren't Killing each other just beating to the brink of death.... well those two at least i still cant keep up with them" Grimsy said to Kindran while laughing quietly thinking that he made a good joke

[Kindran Ornitier]

Kindran laughed at Grimsy's joke and threw Xleena a pouch with enough gil to get a decent replacement scythe. "Sorry it's not much but it should help." he said to her and threw Grimsy the dagger that had been infused with Drain. "Here it should help a bit." he said as the glowing dull red blade landed in his hands.

Chrono got up and flexed his partially crystalized arm and raised his sword at Grimsy. "I'm ready whenever you are..."
