Xleena watched their decreasing shapes for a while as they set off to one of Chrono's friend's houses. Unsure of where the inn is, she started to walk around the now dusky town, where the residents had since began their trips into the bars and taverns, or had already gone home.
Candles lightly licked the shadows of the windowsills as she passed, and the first stars of the evening started to twinkle. It had seemed that the day had gone so quickly, perhaps due to it being so eventful, thought Xleena, admiring the cold breeze that seemed to tiptoe past her, and forgetting the reason for being outside.
She missed the starry nights with her grandpa, Vincent, and sitting on their favorite hill whilst he told her the constellations. He taught her many things under those silver specks of light.
Breaking out of her thoughts, she walked further into the town and found the inn that she was looking for, payed the man his gil, and sat at the small bar, by which she ordered a glass of banana juice.
