"Ah, thank ye kindly, Kalie. Thee hast grown, yes?" She asked, ruffling the cubs' hair.
"Aye, Lady Beta. I trust thou enjoyed thy journey?" The lilt in her voice sang down the halls, causing several of the children in the castle to stop to listen.
"Somewhat. Methinks thou wouldst enjoy a walk through the chambers, wouldst thee not? I must see to mine rooms. Wouldst thou accompany me?"

With this, they both set off toward the wolf's rooms, coming upon a distraught Jester. Beta, with a small smirk, tapped her foot patiently on the ground. "Art thou done, Jest?" She queried, venturing out with his nickname.
