Beginning of the End

[Dr. Strange]

"Pleasure." She purred back. Blood splattered the window again. "Ew.... WE have to hurry. Those things are tricky and smarter than the people in this town.... " Kahlua looked around and padded toward the door, wincing as the hissing and screeching grew louder in her ears.

[Asia Kali Yusufzai]

"Don't worry, we got this," the rabbit chirped as jogged slightly back, lining himself up, sidelong to the wall. He prepped himself like a runner at the starting blocks.

[Dr. Strange]

"Good. Now wait for my signal. I'm goin' to round me up some snake!" She chuckled, trotting to the door, looking back to wink at Chrono, and disappearing outside to the accompaniment of screeching, hissing and screaming. The crisp, rain-like smell and feel of impending nightfall danced along her fur, making her smile. A few hissing snarls came from her right and Kahlua danced to the left, giggling. More hisses came from around her and she danced this way and that, laughing as the Verrii tried in vain to snap at her.

"Come and get it, my friends!" She cackled, standing on her back legs and wriggling around.

"I guess I should take aim at the walls instead" the wolf replied, taking his rifle and aiming it where he believed the support coloumns would be.

"Just make sure you don't shoot me," the rabbit grinned, "whether it be by accident or not."

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"I won't unless Gaire finds it funny..." the replies with a smile..

[Dr. Strange]

Leaping away from the fangs of yet another snake, Kahlua darted down the street, eyes on the door of the makeshift home. "Three seconds!" She yelled, barreling into the room and slamming into the closest wall. Her head spun for a second, eyes rolling around as she regained herself. The Verrii slammed into the room and reared up, eyes watching her mockingly. She knocked the wall in and the building began to collapse.

"GET OUT!" She roared, falling in the way of the crumbling roof to keep Gaire out of harms way.

Upon hearing the scream, Asia tore through to the room of snakes, grabbing Gaire by the scruff of the neck without missing a step and launched himself feet first, fox in tow, through the wall's supports. Barrelling outside, with dust and mortar filling the air they looked back as the buillding was collapsing.

[Dr. Strange]

Laying on her stomach, she howled and snarled, slashing uselessly at a large piece of roofing that'd fallen on her tail, pinning her down. Kahlua screeched and bit the few snakes still alive. Her claws scrabbled across the concrete in a desperate attempt to dig herself out. She swore nastily and finally pushed her hind legs underneath her, flexed and strained, launching herself into the air and digging into the ground. Her tail pulled loose, minus a few tufts of fur, and she slammed into the only two walls left, dragging Chrono out with her.

"Ouch... See if my tail is broken, will you?"

"Well its not bleeding, does it hurt when I do this?" the wolf asked, stroking the panther's tail...

[Dr. Strange]

She shook her head, laughing. "Nope. Just stings a little."

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Then either you're still running on adrenaline, or its just a bruise..." The wolf quickly replied

[Dr. Strange]

She laughed, standing up and hugging Chrono lightly. Her lean body showed ribs that poked out of her skin.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Dang, do I have to get food for you too?" the wolf joked, poking at her exposed ribs

[Dr. Strange]

Kahlua chuckled and poked him back. "I guess you do..."
