I wish that too, but its in human nature to constantly judge a difference someone has, because if it makes that person 'better' than them, then they'll usually use it.

Recently, I was talking to my friend and we got onto the subject of sonic the hedgehog and eventually onto furries, and he just would not accept the idea that he was stereotyping people when he said that furries are just a bunch of perverts. (He doesnt know i'm a furry but he'll find out soon enough. I'm good at dropping hints.) But then he is rather hard headed and anti-social as i think most of these more vocal attackers of furries are.

well this night my sister was here so i decided to hint that I was a furry........bad idea. She stereotyped the usual stuff like us being perverts and ect.  right away and hardly listened to me when i tried to persuade her that those were just stereotypes. This really disheartens me now from telling anyone else I know in real life. :'(

Well today was a good day. Since i just felt like I continue keep it a secret anymore, when I was driving with my mom I felt like bringing up the topic of furrys and how they are stereotyped alot and that I was one of them. She was very understanding and accepted it. This takes a huge load of my chest  . Next up will be my sister who was very sterotypical when I brought up the subject of furries last night. I have a pretty good idea of how to convince her or at least let her know it is not a bad thing to be a furry.

I changed by bio on Xbox Live to my Fursona's bio and characteristics. I thought that it would be the first step to telling my friends that I'm a fur....

Turns out that most of them thought that it was pretty gay of me, and I've been forced to tell them that it is an inside joke....

I can pretty much tell my friends anything and they'll still be cool about it. I don't know about murder but you can get into any discussion with them with the exception of a few witty jokes in between. They definitely think I'm weird but they don't care.

That's the thing about good friends. You can be as weird as you like, but as long as that weirdness is connected to who you really are, then they wont mind and will often expect it from you. If they dont expect it, they'll just add it to their view of you but it will hardly override the main image, since they already know who you are.
