Rowan continued down the hall. Her eyes focused, her mind deep in thought. Father? I have something important to tell you. Her father looked up at her voice in his head. What is it my daughter? He looked at his doors awaiting her presence. Rowan opened his door and looked back at Cyrus. "Wait her for a moment." She walked into the room and approached her father. "I have found someone I am, later on in the future, willing to marry." Her eyes flickered back and forth, trying to read her father. He leaned forward and smiled. "And whom, may I ask, is this man?" His voice was warm but stern. "Cyrus." She kept her face emotionless. Her father scowled at first but then smiled widely. "I'm proud of you. You have a made a decision that I approve of. But! He must promise me to keep you safe and out of harms way, if anything happens to you... It's his head." Her fathers face hardened as he threatened Cyrus' life. Rowan smiled. "Oh thank you father!" She rushed to him and hugged him. "You wont be disappointed." She kissed his old cheek and ran out. She saw Cyrus and jumped on him.
