well yeah when i was a fur i was a jackdaw (the main reason to be a one of a kind).
But you could also chose you're favourite animal (as said above).

Hmm, a wolfcoon... that actually sounds kinda cool =P

and hey, I'm a Malamute that rocks the military scene, so if you want to rave, go for it, lot's of furries have rave-ish fursonas

the thing is im not sure if i want a naturally colored fur or if a black and green coat would bother me. i do want to turn this into a fursuit after all so i need to make a good choice

I'd go with realistic fur and wear rave clothing, OR you could have like, dyed fur parts that are obviously cosmetic or something if you're going for realism. It is all up to what you like though play around with some doodles first.

yah i was thinking about making some doodles but i need to look up a few pointers on furry drawing first cuz im not the greatest artist. i tried a furry creator on newgrounds tho and i was thinking about a color scheme like this (features would change like that muzzle which i dont like) http://yfrog.com/12fursonaj

We're a dying breed on these here forums!
besides being a human means you can be any type of Sub human
mainly because me being a human character, I can alter it so an alien parasite manifests itself inside my character, therby making him Infested, which isnt even human at all, its a completely new thing
what I say to be human, you need to stand out somehow so your neither furry nor human, your just.... there... and that makes it all the crazier

hehe, there are lot's of canines on here ca's canines are an animal most humans have contact with and we feel connected to =P I know that's why I'm a malamute

thats true. i think wolves are just great. very proud and loyal. and raccoons are just too darned cute.

i think im definitely going with a wolfcoon. probably with mostly natural colored fur

I used to be a raccoon furry....but I was a triple hybrid (Wolf-Raccoon-Tiger)
It's pretty fun.

And a raver wolfcoon sounds cool!
