*Kistrev grumbled to himself, settling back down against the ships hull with a clang of head on metal... he swore loudly and in great length, most not in english and jumped up and ran across the clearing and jumped up a tree... there he sat on a branch watching the others.... he thought he heard a light movement below him... but he ignored it...*

Watching the cat clamber up the tree he sat next to, Asia crawled to move beneath Kistrev, so as not to be spotted. As he rested against the tree, Asia thought on why he was hiding, why he was sitting in the long grass rather than a soft armchair, why he wasnt with his friends...

why his friends weren't with him.

Why his friends were dead.

This planet, this luxury cruise, the whooping in the trees. Why was any of it here, and why was he foolish enough to throw himself into it.

Asia's breathing quickened, became heavy, struggling physically to deal with this psychological weight. He couldnt move anywhere, he couldnt escape. he had to just sit there, with his thoughts, his realisation. He didn't like it.

What...what happened? Where am I? What do I remember. Uhh. Let me think. I was on a ship. I was looking for something. What was I looking for? Uh...my head. Pain...that is what this feeling is called. Why is there pain. An alarm. People screaming. A sense of falling. Then....nothing.

Wait....a smell. It is familiar. I know this smell. What is it called. S...s...smoke? Smoke! That's it! But smoke doesn't come alone. It is part of something. Something dangerous. What is it called? FIRE!

The canine sat up with a jolt. He was panting heavily, his eyes were jerking around rapidly, and his fur was matted with sweat. He looked around and saw that the area surrounding him was ablaze. There was shattered glass, ruined tables and chairs, and food scattered everywhere. There were also bodies. Bodies everywhere. The bodies of Furs who were either still unconcious or dead, but it didn't matter. Even now fire was engulfing them. He had to get out or else he would share his fate.

Instinct took over. He ducked low to the ground, under the smoke and began to walk toward where the room was downward oriented, indicating ground. After a short while he met a locked door. Feeling the doorknob, he could tell that the fire was in the room beyond as well. A dead end. He looked around him quickly, he needed to find a way out. There! A window leading outside. He didn't know how high of the ground he was, but he had to take the chance.

Standing up, he ran at full speed and smashed through the window, falling to the ground below. He was higher up then he thought, at least two-stories off the ground. He hit the ground with a thump and felt a sharp pain tear through his side. He was hurt, perhaps badly, but he had to keep moving. Maybe others had made it out alive.

The Folf stood up and began to walk from the ship. The enviroment ws bleak, but luckily the surrounding area seemed flat. He would able to see something coming at him from far away before it reached him.

Seeing a group in the distance, he began to wave his arm and began yellling "Hello! Over here! Hello!"

Kistrev saw someone waving and shouting in the distance... they where on two feet and didnt look like a predator of any sort.... he jumped down from the tree, narrowly missing, though he didnt know it, a small rabbit... he was however too intent on reaching the figure to realise his surroundings, pulling out his knife he switched the blade to the out position with a neat *snick* with a one handed flourish he held the knife pointed towards the ground and back, ready for a quick slash if all was not what it seemed...

"HEY! you injured!?!"

Kistrev shouted over from the large stone he was now crouched on, he stood up and waved in the direction of him and the others, indicating that he should get over here now... He jumped down and started to jog towards the lone figure, just in case he couldnt actually walk over there himself and was injured...

The Folf watched as someone jumped down from a tree and began to walk towards him. The person seemed friendly enough, asking him if he was hurt, but for some reason something inside of him was telling him not to trust anyone completely.

The Folf yelled at the feline, "Yes. I think I might have broken my rib when I fell."

not realising his surroundings, Asia remained where he sat, cloaked in long grass, shivering through the intense mental trauma.

The Folf stood still as ordered. He knew that he was at a disadvantage and couldn't disagree. The pain in his side was nearly unbearable. He hoped that there was someone who could fix it.

Jelkin is minding his own buisness, making molotovs and storing them in a crate so he can move out of the boat, knowing that theres not many other places to go to that he hasn't already cleaned. He continues singing that same song, sending chills through anyone within hearing distance...
"From suffering I was born, From misery I was conceived. From the plight of Mortals I thrive, From the pits of Hell I rise, beware...... For I live.........."

"Wait, you're here for my shiny loot? I thought you were here to avenge the cattle and people I've slaughtered..."

*Kistrev approached slowly, he had always been untrusting, and held out on hand and lightly touched the area of the broken rib... The folf flinched with pain, and Kistrev could feel the two nubs of bone from the broken rib. It felt like it had almost snapped part way down, for now it wouldnt be too life threatening, unless it punctured the skin or lung. He had to hope that just wouldnt happen till they got back and tried to help.*

"ok, it feels like you should be alright for now. Just try and bare the pain, and try not to over-exert yourself as theres a chance. A small chance. That you could puncture the lung"

*Kistrev slid the knife away into a side pocket and started to help the Folf back to theyre "camp". Well it wasnt really a camp, not many camps where just a rough group of people outside a downed space liner.*

"Humph.." *Kistrev growled lightly as he took the weight of the Folf, who while not being heavy had to be carried carefully* "Sorry, but i never caught your name"

Arke, currently crippled or not, set about laying his parts on a sheet of hull from the ship. To him, this was as much about building something useful as it was to help him cope. Or put off coping. When he was busy he tended not to think, and he certainly had his work cut out for him. It took him a few minute to bend the metal rod to the shape he needed, but after that it was just a matter of mounting his other components. The infared diodes, a capacitor array, the lenses. Normally he would have been done in fifteen minutes, with much less cursing, but his work dragged on for at least an hour.  But in the end, once he secured his makeshift housing, it was done. It was bulky, probably inefficient, and of questionable effectiveness, but it was a laser pistol.

ghost let arke down onto the ground and ignored teh human who was speaking to her. she quickly walked back to her bag and picked it up. she moved back to teh other passengers, and the large bear surveyed teh area. the ship had crashed on some type of plane with a forest close to where a big hole in teh ship was. down farther down the plane was a cliff face and numerous rolling picturesque hills. "come on, we can set up a camp by the cliff side, we'd have protection to our backs at least. we'll set up a fire before teh sun goes down and then grab what ever we can from the ship to try to make a shelter." the bear said walking toward the cliff face. it was only about 50 yards away from where the others were standing, but it was about 75 yards away from the ship. 3/4 of a football field was enough so they would be far enough away from the ship in case anything else happened, but close enough to go and get the materials. the bear set her bag down on teh soft ground next to teh cliff face. there was not much rock debris around her and much of what was there was fairly old, with weathered features. to the left of teh camp, on the opposite side of the other people were, was a sizable hill. if this camp got flooded (sense the bear didn't know the weather patterns of this world, she was thinking of most possibilities) the people could just run up the hill and hopefully be dryish. also if the survivors had a large plane of ship hull they could lean it on the hill and have it slant down sideways over camp. giving some protection of three sides of them. also teh camp was defensible if teh beasts came they could climb teh hill, and then find a rocky path up to the top of the cliff hopefully.

we can figure this out. ghost sighed "my name is Jenna, welcome to base camp" she said and turned around to face teh others. she hoped they would follow. she would try to save them, but if they didn't listen to her then there was nothing she could do. she hopped they would trust her, she at least had intivative, most of teh other survivors were just sitting there. it then occurred to her that some might be mentally and physically traumatized. we got to get a safe place set up first. fire and hopefully food will help calm them down, and if we get materials we can help fix them. i just hope they listen.

As rocks are kicked towards Asia, a few jab him in the thigh, knocking him out of his trance, illuminating him to the new arrival.
Pull yourself together, man, he thought to himself. You're supposed to be paying attention unless you want to join your friends.
Death was certainly an alluring concept but he wasnt ready just yet. He'd need to prepare himself for it and right now, he wasnt ready to die. He hadnt even considered it before today. He mused on how strange that truly was, considering the wargames he played. He just didnt think.

He had to think now.
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."
