Welp, I did it! I got ma wisdom teeth pulled, but it's something that happened that makes me wonder if anyone has had this experience. Before I went to 'La La Land' with the chocolate Teddy Bear as the captain to the dream train, I opened my eyes briefly in the OR just as they were about to give me 'The Gas'. As I looked up to one of the bars on the ceiling, I could swear that I saw it move. Now I know it was a hallucination, but seriously, it was a bit freaky/funny. I told the nurse and she just kind of laughed at me. Has anyone else experienced something like this in surgery?

I don't think what they're giving you should give you hallucinations

I know, but it was so weird, the other bars weren't moving, that I know it was a hallucination.

Ahhhhh... your lucky. When I went through that they didn't even give me the gas. Instead of pulling it out, they broke it down and reoved it piece by piece... *shivers* ... aghhh... :'(

Not only did I make myself look stupid by telling the nurse 'Oh, the bar's moving' but I stumbled and tripped as I got into the car from the wheelchair. I felt so embarrassed and tired.

Yeah...

And the other nurse, a guy, told me that he and the rest of the nurses would come and laugh at me when it was over. When I came around about an hour later, he came to the foot of my bed and said 'See, here I am to laugh at you!' But he was kidding.

That's what made it kind of funny. It was my funny hospital moment when I was more than half asleep and there's the nurse telling me that he's going to laugh at me.

Yeah I guess it's just one of those moments were you reflect back on yourself and ask " How could I have ever been scared of the dentist?" hmph...hahaha.

I got mine removed two day before Christmas last year. I was apparently singing Christmas carols and cussing while I was half under. *sigh* fun times. I miss Vicodin. Oh well.

My mom said that when they gave me the Vicodin that I kept smiling this creepy smile and I kept waving at her.

when i was put under to have two teeth extracted, there where these kites painted on the ceiling, they gave me the injection (i live in britain, no more gas) everything went really blurry and started to spin, and all the kites where flying around.... my last words where "woah!"

When I had injured myself and had to get staples ( 13 to be exact ) put into my head they had gave me something to I guess relieve pain. I ended up laughing hysterically and then being knocked out cold only to wake up and punch my mom.
