Blank Limit - The Furry Band

I slowly eased my expression. After the news fully hit me, I grinned. "Were you always in this band to make me happy?" I put my paw on his shoulder. "I'm not going to beg you to stay, but I will ask that you think about it. Or at least keep me conviced you could be." I turned to leave the room, my paw slowly sliding off of his saddened shoulders.

"What are you-...oh, no. Scautty I'm not quitting the band. I'm quitting the drugs." Spike said. "I can't quit this band...You guys are all I have left."

drugs? who needed drugs when you where out with mates raving to the music you liked... well it seemed most of the people in the club did, by the look of theyre pupils... but Kitt wasnt one to take much in the way of drugs... catching his mates eye he burst into a smile and shouted out to the dj to give im more, more, more!

I tripped at the door. "Wh-- What??" I started to laugh. "I'm not sure what's so funny... That whole situation or you quitting outta nowhere, but I'm glad that's the situation!" I laughed more, in relief.

I stood again. "Haha... I didn't mean that, I'm sorry. I'm sure everyone will be here for you to the end Spike!" I wiped my eyes, and smiled.

Spike looked around, a bit unsure how to react. "Um...Yeah...Well...I guess I'll see you later." Spike stood in the doorway awkwardly for a second before disappearing down the hallway.

I continued my laughing to an ease and rested against the wall. I was a little wound tight, so that whole encounter seemed a bit awkward. More awkward than it should have been at least. I slided my back against the tapestry until I sat on the floor, a smile still on my face as I sat and rested. A laugh was just what I needed.

Spike sat down in his apartment in one of the old kitchen chairs. The smell of opium and bong water filled the air. He looked over at the glass shards and the garbage bag in the center of the room. He lit a cigarette and sat in a trance wondering if he could really pull this off. He looked at the bag again, wondering how much of his hard earned money was being thrown away in the sealed black plastic. His head began to hurt. "I must be crazy." He sighed and leaned back in the chair. He was surprised he hadn't ended up like Random by now.

Chrono is lying in the hallway, unconsious and snoring. Along with a few patches of fire around him and smoke coming out of his mouth.

Spike walked out of room naked with nothing but his Red and Black Thunderbird bass and down the hallway to the practice room. His eyes red from lack of sleep, and cigarette between his lips, he opened the door to the practice room and stepped inside, sifting through all the equipment.

Spike looked back at Phil then down to where his clothes used to be. His eyes widened before he looked back up at Phil. "Oh, sorry..." He slid his bass over his waist and walked back to his room pressed up against the wall.

Vamp had just turned the corner and yelled "AHH! I'm scarred for life!"

I listened as the shrieks of terror rung out in the hallway from my room. I let them continue as I read through a magazine, all about merchandising.

I finally cracked open the door, hoping not to see what I didn't need to see.

The ghost was clear, so I crept down into the kitchen and prepared some soda for myself. "Anyone interested in buying band shirts? We still got a few more weeks until the gig and we'll need some way of advertisement."

"I'm in as long as I can get Spike's furred behind unburned from my retinas. That will haunt my dreams forever." Vamp replied, wide eyed.

"See here Kitt... you gonna get me the story on the gig see? cos youre a rookie... the new guy... and one good story aint enough for me give ya a job... ok?"

Kitt was standing in front of the head of the newspaper, a foul small toad like man... Kitt tried to surpress a laugh at this thought....

"stop standing there like the sorry excuse for a feline you are! bloomin well get out there and pick up the story you need to keep your stupid job!"
