Spike smirked. " You really aren't from around here. You've done your research, I've done mine. I don't make lives miserable, that's a matter of opinion. I don't push those around, Agent Kaelin, those who push me are pushed back. This city ain't no Chicago. What happens over there is run by girls dressed for the part. You see, son, you think you and your boys in blue think you run the city. You don't, we do. Who do you honestly think runs the legal system around here? Politicians over in Washington? No. The Commission does. You may want to stop wasting your time with me, young man, because I won't be under arrest much longer." There was a knock at the door. A wolf in a black overcoat stepped inside, taking off his hat. The wolf looked at Jay then looked back at Spike. "Mr. Gambino, my name is Mark Rigazzi, Angelo sent me. It's good to see that you're ok." He looked at Jay again. "Angelo sends his regards. He also sent you these." He snapped his fingers and two men walked through the door holding a mass vase of flowers, leaving quickly after setting it down next to the bed. Spike smiled. "Tell Angelo I send many thanks..." Spike looked at Jay, "and I don't think I'll have any trouble right now." Mark nodded, looking at Jay with mistrust. "I will, Mr. Gambino. If you need anything, I'll be right outside." He nodded at Soike before turning to leave, taking a final look at Jay when he opened the door and disappeared through it. Spike looked at the tall vase of flowers and then back at Jay. "That must have been him."
