Jaida looked to Vosur who had knelt next to her. She thought for a minute, running all the names through her head. "Well, Daisuke sounds familiar but that's because of a baseball player and I'm sure that's not who you're talking about." She kind of chuckled.
"I'm Jaida, by the way." She said, smiling. She was curious about this newcomer. There was just something about him, but she had no idea what it was. It was kind of like the feeling she had when the Spirit had talked to her and Xleena, but about half the intensity of that.

Crying out from the immense pain coming from his gut, now rapidly expanding throughout his body, Katar cries out to whatever deities he worship. "NURGLE, WHY HAVE YOU BLESSED ME WITH THIS GIFT!" he yelled to the sky, now feeling the pain starting to numb a little bit, as his body grew accustomed to what he thought was a gift from a deity.

He realises that he hasn't really introduced himself. The rabbit, plops himself down cross-legged, he extends a hand to no-one in particular, "Hey, I'm JellyMuffins, but everyone just calls me Jay... or, they used to anyway..." He keeps up a sincere smile, despite the discussion of their recent demise. "So," he asks cheerfully around the group, "how did you guys kick the bucket?" He thinks that it would make them a tighter group the more they knew about each other... also, he was really curious to know.

Asia didnt like the bird he could see. A silhouette in the sky. Nobody else seemed to notice it.
They should notice it, since it's dangerous, but they dont notice it. Why don't they notice it. Asia thought to himself. The bird had something to do with his attack on the recently unmasked cat. He was angry at the bird. He didn't like birds. In retaliation, he held the dog tail to his chest and with his other hand, grabbed a fistful of grass, and hurled it into the sky. The lack of wind just let it fall back onto him. He turned to the cat who seemed better now, less dangerous, less threatening, more normal. He wished he hadnt attacked him, but he had, so as he was taught when he was alive, he decided to apologise and he knew the perfect way to do it.

Gripping both ends of the tail, he pulled and pulled, straining with the effort, watching the skin to tear, but he hadnt the strength to do more. This didnt stop him trying. He had to apologise.

So he kept pulling.

His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Jay looks curiously at the other rabbit's odd behaviour. Following his gaze he looks up into the sky at the circling bird, he watches it's flight wistfully for a moment wondering what it was like to fly (then remembering that he knew what it was like... and that was why he was here). He grins at Asia, ignoring the mistreatment of the disembodied canine tail, "Watcha got against that bird?" he asks softly, sighing wistfully as his gaze returns to follow the bird's circling flight, "He hasn't done anything to harm you."

He giggles softly at the memory of the startled flock of birds he had swooped past, this was a much calmer scene - taking the moment to enjoy that, he leans back on the grass and closes his eyes, wondering what could explain the erratic behaviour. He gathered from the reactions, or lack of reactions, from the other members of the group, that he'd acted unexplainably strange before; this was normal. A grin creeps back on to his lips and he begins to hum to himself, not pushing the other rabbit to explain the tail.

Attention tied viciously to the dog tail, a voice became a startle. He jumped at the sound, and his avian mask returned, wrapping over his face, his ears standing out from the feathers like aerials on a cake. With his new beak, he snapped at the tail, breaking it in two.

He turned to the rabbit, "Birds are evil, symbols of bad things. I learned this. Learn it." His voice was not so firm now, not so powerful. It seemed to stumble, as so crumbling at the edges. After providing the warning, Asia turned to the cat, walked over to him and presented one half of the tail to him.

Kitt took the tail curiously, looking up into the rabbits eyes he nodded. Dont worry, "its fine"... "apology accepted"... he dug a small hole and carefully buried the tail under the warm earth, patting the earth flat he smiled back at the rabbit showing he knew what the rabbit had meant.

"and how did i die? that for the moment i cant tell you... i mean if i knew... i... i ...."

his voice stumbled as he sqinted past a growing wall of pain... between his eyes a pressure built, flashes of memory outstripped his consciousness

Jay nods to the cat, "I understand, I guess it could sneak up on you - I, on the other hand, had plenty of time to contemplete the afterlife on the way down. Me? I decided that today would be the perfect time to try parachuting and, to cut a long story short, my backup chute didn't work either." He grins, remembering the wall of green and brown coming up to meet him, he had no memory of pain in the end, just a sudden finish.

He turns back to the Asia, "Hey that was a cool trick, d'you think I could do that?" He concentrates for a moment, visualising himself as a wolf instead of a rabbit. He laughs it off as a failed attempt until he sees his fur begin to change colour to a dark grey, his tail began to enlongate and his teeth sharpened. "Woah... that's awesome!" He's thrilled with this new dicovery, switching back and forth between forms before finally settling back as a rabbit. He turns to the others, "Can you guys do anything like this?" he already saw the bird/bunny, the guy with the robot legs and the cat with the magic suit - he wonders what else they could do in this dimension.

The bunny sits up, interested, "You can tell me, does it have anything to do with that crazy suit?" He smiles all the time, he had never been afraid in life - always curious, he always needed to know. That's probably what led him to his death. "I mean, you don't look used to the suit, but we've mostly come here with what we were carrying at the time - like dog-tail over there," he points to Asia over his shoulder, "or how we looked normally, like me... I mean, if you could see me as i was when I died, I was probably a red paste." He giggles at the image, not disturbed at all by the contemplation of his probably-mangled corpse back on earth. "Though I was holding the failed backup rip-cord..."

"Anyway, as far as I can gather, you come here looking as you would normally, but you can also have any item that was involved in your death." He tilts his head at the cat, so you were either wearing the suit when you died or that suit somehow led directly to your death. So, enough of my rambling, what happened?" He rocks back and forward eagerly, like he's waiting for a story.

*Kitt ran a paw though his hair, ruffling it as he looked to the sky...*

"yeah... it most probably has somthing to do with my death... ya see.. hmm... well... as far as i can remember... i was a firefighter.... you know? guys who tried to fight back fires and went into blazing buildings to help rescue people's lives? well... thats what i used to be... and... and..."

*Kitt held his head in his paws, pulling at his ears... mumbling.. it looked like he was trying to remember...*

"ugh, it was all kinda hazy... i mean.... thats all i can really remember... i mean, i think more will come back... it came back just in regular conversation... like when we where talking about what we used to be? i dont know, somthing just sparked it off.."

*he looked back at the rabbit, that really was all he could kind of remember... except...*

"no! there was somthing else! choking, holding someone... trying to pull them out... smoke... fire... i was wearing one of those full heat suits... the kind with the mask and oxygen tank... i was... agh! that's it... the rest is all blurry, more... feeling, rather than images.. ya know?"

Jay smiles, rubbing the back of his head "Not really, I remember everything about my end. But yeh, you helped save people, that's a good way to go - I got stuck with just a malfunction." He tries to reassure the feline, but is soon sidetracked when he begins switching forms again, bouncing up and down on the spot with glee. He pictures, instead of a normal wolf-body, a scythed hand... nothing happens. 'I guess I can only go with natural forms.' Looking around the group, he spots the lioness; picturing her for a moment he begins to change again. He panics and quickly changes back to a male rabbit, "Okay, not-to-self, stay male." He breathes hard for a moment because of the shock, but then begins to giggle softly, having done enough experimenting for one day.

Kitt nodded
"yeah, s'pose it was a good way to go..."
he watched as the rabbit changed form with ease, he couldnt help but giggle as he watched his glee with each transformation....

Xleena looked stunned at the rabbit who tried to change into her. This inspired her to think of what she could try. Then she remembered! Her favorite item she was sure she had on her when she died. Picturing them, a small crack formed in the ground, and a crystal pierced the earth, and shattered, producing her pair of mecha wings. 'Awesome!' Called out Xleena. She attached them to her shoulders and sprung into the air, flying in a circle around the group before landing lightly on her hind legs.
Looking at the jolly rabbit, she smiled 'I always wanted to know how to fly... so I got my grandfather who was a major industry mechanic to make me some wings- I was kinda lucky like that.' She turned to Vosur and asked 'You look like a mechanic, did you ever hear of Conic Machines Corporation?'
'Oh!' She exclaimed a little too vigorously (she was excited about reuniting with her mecha wings), 'I sort of died by being killed by a gang...' Not wanting to lower the mood, she changed the subject rapidly, 'Me and Jaida died at the same time, isn't that weird?'
Wherever the wind blows, you will hear my voice whisper in your ear.

Surrounded by the conversation, Asia stepped out of the circle. He held the half tail to his chest. He didnt have much left. Thankfully it did not bleed.

It did not bleed because it had no heart. It was a tail. He needed it, wanted to keep it and it was running out. The feathers from his mask spread across him as the voices around his head blurred and mixed. Holding the tail to him, it became lost in the feathers. Soon, he felt it lodged in his chest. It was like a stone in his shoe, except in his chest and without pain, but reassurance. The feathers disappeared completely, and as he looked to the sky, the bird was higher, smaller.

An energy flowed through the tail.

He was sleepy.
