Asia ran on all fours, pelting through the darkness before slamming into a dirt wall. Placing his paw upon it, he gripped both to discern its density and for mere comfort. Looking around, he could hear it, feel it. It was haunting him, after him and him alone. He looked back and saw an outline. The difference of pitch black on shadow. Indiscernable yet most definitely there. Asia began to dig. Dig harder and harder. Dig deep into the wall. Dig his tunnel of escape. Dig his tunnel without light.
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Jaida's ears managed to catch Kitt's words. She pointed to the ground to her left where the rock had appeared. She said nothing though. She was still waiting for the rock to tell her something. It didn't make sense that she expected that from something that had no mouth or vocal chords. She waited though, like a dog in the pound waiting to go home, her circumstance being the more hopeless one though.

Vosur unsheathed his sword completely and held it up like a lantern to see further into the tunnel. Seeing Asia dig further away from the light, he sheathed his blade again to dim the light. "Hey, if you want to stay away from birds, that's fine by me. But it would be best to learn to find someone to trust, you can't stay alone for eternity." he called out to the darkness, clicking the sword back into the sheath before venturing right below the entrance into the tunnel, then jumping straight up before firing off his jets in a bright blue color to give himself another "jump". He caught hold of the shaft's wall, then kicked off of it to get more upward momentum, going from wall to wall before launching himself out of the hole at high-speeds, landing in the grass nearby with a very heavy "thud".

Jay is startled from his relaxed state by the sound of metal missing his head by inches. He shoots up into a sitting position, blinking in surprise before yawning and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Scanning the group quickly he sees that everyone is out of the hole... well, except for Asia, but he ran off. He hops up to his feet, energetic again, "Alright, time to go explore!" he tries to rouse the other members of the group to get up so they can set off, but some seem a little unresponsive. He watches Kitt experiment with the fire, he snaps his fingers in frustration, "If only we had some marshmallows..."

Spike watched as the wolf jumped out of the hole and landed. "...Rad." Was all Spike could come up with. He sat down in the grass looking at Jay. "Now that's something I can't make, sorry." He laughed. "I really like marshmallows too...which raises a good question. What's there to eat around here? I'm not for starvation." He said, sadly, rubbing his stomach as it growled. "There's no Burger King around is there?" He scanned the area. "Guys this place is trippin' me out." He turned back to Jay. "I'll go with ya...exploring I mean."

He continued onwards and onwards through the rocks and dirt. His breathing was laboured and his arms sore  yet each time he looked back, he could see. Sometimes closer, sometimes far away in the cave, easily a trick of sight. He knew this. He knew it could be himself trapped in a lie, trapped in fear, but he couldnt risk it. He couldn't risk that nightmare coming to pass. He could not kill the bird, not without some great force. The earth itself would have to fall upon the beast...

Perhaps he thought, the earth is exactly the weapon I need. He could see the bird moving closer behind him, and in full knowledge of the consequences, he kicked at the tunnel walls, repeatedly, scraping away the mud support. With a soft crumble and a terrible crash, the earth fell upon the bird; and the rabbit was closed in.

Jensuno Sensed a small gathering of spirits- two in which he recognised from earlier. Realising he no longer had to wait to be summoned by his own ruling, he decided to have a little fun.
A crack appeared in front of the group, and he materialised out of a rather large crystal. Looking down at now all the shocked faces (minus Xleena and Jaida, who seemed either preoccupied or used to his presence already which slightly annoyed him), he addressed them all with his unnerving smile 'Salutations my dear subjects, and how are we today?'

"marshmallows? gad, i musta looked like a roasted marshamallow when they find my body..."
He gave a laugh as with a clap of his hands a large ball of fire erupted into sparks and flashes of gold...

"sweet... just hope i dont go applauding anyone! umm, and actually... i wouldnt go too near me... i still aint quite got the hang of.."
With a small accidental flick of his wrist a nearby bush set alight with a woosh..

"whoops... note to self... stop doing anything"  ^_^

He stared up in shock as a large figure burst from a crystal, small shards flying outwards like rain... Jumping up with fear the dreaded suit returned, and his scream was cut-off as the mask materialised, turning his voice into a mumble... kicking and thrashing he tried to calm down...

In the night of the underground pocket of his own creation, Asia could hear the rumble in the earth. Something crawling out, or falling upon the world. Something was happening. Thankfully nothing had turned grey in the earth yet. It was still all black to him. No birds, no shadows, no lights, no dogs, no rabbits, no feathers, no fears. Just black.

He felt something on his paw. It was small, sharp, curved like a tooth. A carnivorous tooth. A dog tooth. He felt it in the wall, and another accompanied, and then another. Looking carefully, they shimmered in the darkness, a glimmer of their purpose. He grabbed them, and inside his caccoon he pulled out the canine lower jaw. No head, no fur, just bone, snarling at him. It didnt like being held.

Jaida came out of her "trance" when Vosur landed. She looked around at everyone, having no clue about what was going on. She drummed her paws on the rock. Her mind was reeling, just trying to come up with what exactly happened before she died. All she saw was the conversation, the walk, and the back of the panther when she was knocked out. Nothing else came to her and that bothered her very much.

Jaida looked up at the Spirit. "Confused..." She said softly, looking down at the rock again. She looked back at the Spirit again. "But I thought you had to be called by us to appear?" She questioned, but then quickly shut up and got a slightly worried look on her face. She figured it was probably a bad idea to question a spirit and felt stupid for doing so, even though the Spirit had been quite friendly the first time around.
Her mesmerized nature came back again. The one that had occurred the first time she had encountered the Spirit. She couldn't take her eyes off of it.

Mask vigorously nodded in response. "I've been waiting for awhile already, I can wait a bit longer as long as I get some answers!" he then hopped up on the pillar with unusual agility, then blinked onto the guardian. "I was right, you're very soft!" he chirped with a delighted tone while his tail swished from side to side.

Rigor, sure she wouldn't lose much, simply looked at Mask and followed his lead. She was unsure of where she was going as well as the spirits intentions. But she was dead anyway, so who cared if she died again? It was obvious it couldn't be worse than not knowing who you were or where you came from.

He turned to the Guardian, a raised eyebrow as he quickly slipped his right-hand below the hilt of his sword, ready to unbelt and unsheathe it at a moment's notice. His eyes shifted to one side to see the individual who lowered the makeshift ladder down the hole, then quickly back to the Guardian. "So, who might you be... the one to call us 'subjects'?" His eyes faded back and forth from blue to red and back as he kept contact with this being, not sure whether it was to be trusted. To him, it wasn't exactly befitting to be called a "subject" without his approval... even if it was the right term.

Jay's eyes widened at the spirit's arrival, but as the suprise wore off a grin began to spread across his face. From a distance he watches the spirit's spiked wings and many arms in awe, until he finally gave into his curious nature. Excruciatingly slowly at first, he sidled up to the spirit, extending a paw to touch one of the many arms of the spirit.

He pauses for a moment, the last time he had given in to curiosity like this he had ended up plummeting to the ground after jumping out of a plane. He shrugs from behind the spirit, thinking, "Hey, I can only die once" reaching out and prodding one of the guardian's arms.

Open sky, green grass beneath his paw. Asia tore some of it from the ground and chewed.
Where am I? he thought as he chewed. There were no birds in the sky. No buildings in the distance. Only mountains and plains. A road to the left of him had a sign. Apparently this was the path to "A Town of Dogs." Asia liked dogs, so he followed the path. As he walked, he felt no wind in the air, and placing his foot on the tarmac road felt like dirt. He found the grass in his mouth tasted like dirt. He continued on. He wanted to see the dogs.

In the distance, he could see it. Great towers, breaking the clouds, lit up and open for all. He continued to walk, the buildings grew closer, grew higher. They tapered  as they grew taller, becoming needles  piercing blue roof up above, causing chunks of it to the ground as dust. It was blue snow. As he reached the city, he could see the dogs, black and brutish. Adorably violent creatures, crowing and chirping with a throaty cry, as though they had claws in their beaks to break the sound. Luxurious tails trailed behind them, flowing out with fanning feathers caressing the ground. Dark and inviting, he just had to reach out and touch.

Asia felt a pain in his chest.
