I am so confused as to what Rigor is seeing..
*Chibi Chrono walks onto the stage, with a pair of glasses and a fake bushy moustache*
Currently, Mask has regained all of his memories, his mother, the "Queen of dreams" now hates her eldest son, the prince of nightmares. Despite the prince of nightmares being basically the evil variation of Mask, the evil is only about 10% his own (Refer to Chrono's visions in page 27 for a sketchy idea). This means that even though he has destructive urges, he will experience remorse if his train of thought goes back to the past.
*takes post-rant breath*
As for the chain, it is the enitity that keeps the prince of nightmares tied to Mask's soul. If any attempt is made to extract the said person, the chain will materialize and drag the prince back into Mask, willing or not. Going back to the "Queen of dreams", before the whole ordeal before, during, and after the trial, she actually didn't care if her son was considered a 'tainted' divinity as Sicklo so put it. In fact, she was proud that not only was he going to be the King of Nightmares, but he was also going to be the executioner of Divinities. During the whole ordeal, she thought somewhere along the line, she was responsible for the mentality that Kostil (Prince of Nightmares) had when he attempted to assault (
Not kill!! ) 'Mother', which lead her to think that her younger son, the 'pure' divinity Mask (I'm trying to come up with a name, so far I'm thinking Eonziell) might end up like Kostil.
*is borderline consious, taking sharp breaths* Is there anymore questions besides the length of my explanation?
