Napalm is a mixture of polystyrene and an adhesive mixed with diesel or petrol, which has been used for disposing of culled animals. It's not made of the same chemicals that people at home can make. A styrofoam and gasoline mixture is not the same as military grade which is made of chemical propteries to "explode" on impact (as displayed in Vietnam and Japan during WWII.

He has a point. As long as you kept your distance the Zombie/s could simply be burnt off the face of the Earth.
 I suppose if I came across any kind of explosive I would probably put it to good use to wipe out a large group
of attacking infected if it wasn't hard to carry with me.

Spike, I have to disagree on the napalm thing. when napalm is made, the thickening agent takes on acidic properties that make it melt through flesh easier, I f a zombie is covered in military grade napalm and lit, they will be incinerated in a matter of seconds, also I would plan to make a Napalm perimeter around my stronhold which would cause a flaming ring of protection and zombie incinerating fire.

so light all the zombies on fire
then burn your own stronghold down with fiery zombies

anyways since I havn't read the Guide (which I really really should) For Fast zombies, well military strongholds aren't that safe due to the large gathering of people in the strongholds, and the imaginable exodus to these areas might attract more of them. Best thing to do, is probably to get out of the city, but go to a sparsely populated area, like a farm

still, theres no way the napalm will get ALL the zombies, due to the possibility of the virus mutating and developing a fiery immunity and just making the zombies all the more dangerous

You cant touch a zombie when they're on fire. The same applies to a regular situation. If you're set on fire, nobody can touch you. It's a perfect body armour that you'll wear forever.

a zombie on fire means it can spread the fire on it to a wooden surface or whatever form of clothing the survivor has, the fire will distract the survivor, most likely causing panic which will most likely result in a fire zombie devouring said survivor.

sure its good body armor, but you'll die from it anyways so its not very useful, besides it produces too much light

Shopping mall = bad idea

For starters to many way to get inside, so that means blockading more doors and windows then you have supplies for. Also that's where everyone else would go, IE zombies will be attracted to food. So pretty much your out of luck with that.

Hey do what you want, I'm just saying it's not the best idea especially to spread around your stronghold. It will most certainly burn. Not to mention the amount of attention it would bring. You're basically holding up a sign that gives away your position. You're chance of survival is extemely unlikely.
