Furs At War (OOC: Characters and Discussion)

  It is spring, 1944. Nazi Germany has taken over most of Europe and parts of Africa. The Allied Forces are planning on making their final push into France and into Paris to stop Adolf Hitler and his armies from gaining control of the western world. Furs and humans alike volunteer for serving their countries as thousands are dying on the battlefields of Europe for what seems to be a losing battle. The Red Army has managed to fight the Axis back to gain the land they had lost as the British, Americans, Canadians, and the resistance of France and Italy struggle to make their final stand. Nazi Germany has taken the strong hold of Europe and is now making plans to cross overseas into North America after having captured the majority of Soviet Russia. The Axis powers have set up numerous labor and extermination camps in the east for prisoners of war and enemies of the state after being over populated back in Germany and most of the fighting is concentrated along The English Channel in France. The United Kingdom, being the last obstacle standing between Nazi Germany and the Americas.

   As countries on both sides suffer heavy casualties, conscription is introduced to all countries involved (mandatory enlistment for every able bodied man over the age of 18). Everyone must fight for their lives and their countries in this battle. Hope is slowly fading for the Allies and momentum is booming on the front for German forces. Will Nazi Germany take over the rest of the world or will the Allies prevail? It’s a battle that everyone wants to win. Never give up, never surrender.


RULES: Read these if you want to participate.

1. No godmodding. Period. Sometimes your characters are faced with disadvantages. Deal with it.

2. No magic. No exceptions.

3. ALL OOC CHAT SHOULD BE IN THIS THREAD AND THIS THREAD ONLY

4. Please write in past tense like a story to continue the flow of the story. No *actions* please.

5. Stick to the plot. Don't stray. If you've got a back story with your character, incorporate it with the plot. Don't make it more important than that.

6. All types of characters are encouraged. You can be a human in here!

7. This is a serious roleplay. There will be no leaving anyone behind, and you need to be reasonable with your posts. If you pass out, chances are you're not going to post actually being conscience for a bit. You know how to use your common sense so do it.

8. Any breaking of the rules will result in you respectfully leaving the roleplay with an exit post.

9. NO ONE LINERS. Put thought into your posts.

Bio: Spike grew up as an only child with both his parents on a small farm in Germany. He joined the army after pleas from his father in 1939 and has since been serving his country for means he knew were wrong. Having no choice but to enlist under threat of being arrested, he fought along side his father until 1941 when his father was killed in battle. Plotting revenge against his fascist government for the death of his father and the extermination of his friends, Spike is still in search of a squad who will help him put an end to the Third Reich once and for all.

Bio: the son of a Farmer, Wolfgang wanted to make a name for himself instead of growing great crops, so he set out for the Wehrmacht, in Bootcamp, due to his good aim, was put into sniper training. Coming from a region where the Third's Reich's tyranny wasnt reached, Wolfgang is loyal to the Reich

Weapon(s): A single semi-automtic pistol issued to officers... also a LT-38 Command tank, the crew include Kitt, a driver, gunner,machine gunner and engineer....

Bio: Kitt is one of the "Strazčen" or "reckless" officers, since the start of the war the fast armoured divsions have increased in size and so an influx of young, sometimes foolhardy officers have taken up positions... "Stoiniks" (generals) see the Poročik as young, corageous but extremely unorthodox fighters....

Slovakian Tactics see speed as the highest advantage in warfare, to this end LT-35 tanks can be pushed to limits that more modern tanks would be incapable of when crossing long distances at speed. This would be unimaginable without the engineer corp, whos experience with the stalwart old design of the tanks can keep an armoured division rolling at high speeds cross-country...

A young feline Poročik, Kitt signed up for the fast armoured division at the age of eighteen, commanding his small armoured divsion of LT-35 tanks into reconaisence and hit and run assaults with a steady paw, and reckless tactics...

((also, would i be able to start off at the same place as you n gabag spike? a slovak armoured divsion could be some new arrivals for additional training by the Wehmracht?))

i could be support ish? basically in ww2 the slovakians often put one tank, with one squad as support.. this leant the tank the superior vision of the infantry... and the infantry the armour and anti-tank wepaonry of the tank.... just a suggestion?
